New Copic Classes and Exciting News!

I've been keeping a secret about something for a while now and I'm proud to be involved! Looks like someone let the cat out of the bag a little early . . . more news will be coming next week, stay tuned! :)

Days of Summer StampTV Kit

If you saw my post from Monday, you know that I'm hosting this week's StampTV Challenge, which is to create a tag(s). So in keeping with this week's challenge theme, I made some more tags using the two right stamp sets (You're the Sweetest & Fishing You the Best) from the kit . . . Here they are (click on any photo for a larger view):

I stamped with Gina's fabulous Color Companions Ink Pads onto some pre-made 2-3/4" x 1-11/16" white tags from the office supply store and now I have a good supply of tags for any occasion! Aren't they sweet?!! They will be perfect for my girls and their friends this summer!

Here's another tag I created with the Summer Blooms stamp set from the kit:

To create this popular ombre look, I used my Copic Airbrush System and some of my favorite BG colors (BG01, BG05 & BG09) to airbrush a white #8 tag (6-1/4" x 3.25") I made from Gina's White Heavy Base Weight cardstock:

Next, I spritzed the stamps with Copic Colorless Blender Solution and quickly stamped onto the tag. The Blender Solution will push aside the airbrushed color, creating a bleached effect.

Next, I used the pretty butterfly from the A Wish For You set and stamped it in four different GKD Color Companion ink colors:

I accented the lower portion of the card with the zig-zag stitch from Tami Mayberry's Simple Flowers set, stamped with white pigment ink onto a narrow strip of Black Onyx cardstock.

Finally, I used some of Gina's beautiful new Watercolor Garden 6x6 patterned paper to coordinate with the Summer Blooms stamp set from the kit:

I stamped the flowers with Gina's Cherry Red and Sweet Corn Color Companions ink onto a doily die cut from Ivory Heavy Base Weight cardstock and used Gina's Black Onyx ink for the pretty sentiment. The doily is popped up on foam tape and black gingham ribbon from the kit divides the two patterns.
