Happy Sunday to all of you! I think I've finally recovered a little bit from my week at the Craft & Hobby show and wanted to share one of the tags I was demonstrating at the show for JustRite Stampers. The tag features the 2-inch square Hearts Come Home set.
This beautiful poinsettia image was colored with Copic markers R22, R27, R39, G24, G28, YR21. The center was punched with a 1.25 inch square punch (fits perfectly!), the edges inked, and popped up on foam tape over the Merry Christmas border that was stamped with Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink. The border image was punched with a 2.25 inch scalloped square punch (EK Success).
The snowflake is glittered and there's a glitter strip across the bottom of the tag (sorry it's not showing up better in the photo). I made the glitter strip with the new 1/4-inch X-Press It double-sided tape that Copic will be distributing in North America ... more details on that coming soon!
You'll be able to find the full details on this project soon on the Featured Project section at the JustRite Stampers website.
And just a note that I've updated the Copic Certification Class Info page of my blog, so hopefully you'll find some new classes that are open near you! I hope you'll check back tomorrow for a fun blog hop that we'll be doing over in Ellen Hutson's the CLASSroom. If you like flowers, check out the details first thing in the morning at the CLASSroom blog and join us!
