Today we are celebrating Taylored Expressions 2nd birthday and all of the new September release of stamps and products that are now available at the TE Store! I can’t believe it was 2 whole years ago that I was honored to be a part of the first Baker’s Dozen design team . . . good times!
Today’s blog hop has 20 fabulous designers highlighting some new Taylored Expressions A La Carte stamps –- an ADORABLE line of belated birthday sets that were the brilliant concept of my sweet friend, Jami! Unfortunately Jami knows first hand just how late I always am with birthday cards and I feel like she may have had someone (like me!) in mind when her ideas were realized, LOL!
My favorite Belated A La Carte Birthday set (each set comes with its own hilarious sentiments for both the outside as well as inside of your card) was this flock of adorable birds:
Aren't those birds THE sweetest?!! I colored the image with these Copic markers:
I airbrushed the background of the bird image with Copic Y11 and the tag with BG11. I LOVE that bottom sentiment (also meant for the inside of the card) -- I think I’ve honestly written that on late birthday cards myself (now I can just stamp it)! And honestly, this belated birthday card will be going out to my brother, whose birthday was last weekend (hanging head in shame)! So that’s why it’s done in more masculine colors and no (well, not too much!) frilly foo-foo!
