I was going for a "chalkboard" look -- I thought it would look great with the stenciled style of this set! I placed both the flower and sentiment stamps onto an acrylic block together, and stamped them with white pigment ink onto an Inchie Arts Black Twinchie Square. Something I had been wanting to try with the Inchie matboard squares is to stitch on them, so I started by piercing holes in the Twinchie:
And then just hand stitched red thread through the holes!

I love the style of this sweet set -- the pretty skirt just begs to be paper pieced! I know I'll be using this set for many feminine cards for my girlfriends and my sweet daughters!
For this card, I stamped directly onto the shabby Girls' Paperie pink dotted designer paper and then again on some coordinating black dotted paper. I cut out the black dotted skirt and adhered it to first stamped image. I colored the bodice of the dress with T2 Copic marker, the flower with R83, and then shaded the skirt with T1.
I hand-dyed the seam binding ribbon with my Copic R83 Various Ink Refill (full tutorial can now be found in the post before this one, HERE), so it would match the pink card base and flower accent on the dress. The bunch of light pink seam binding bow you see next to the Various Ink Refill in the upper left of the photo above is the color the seam binding started out.
