The Vine – Illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger: What a wonderful set this is, to also compliment many of Melanie’s other floral stamp sets! I love that you have different floral elements in this set, to combine however you wish!
I made this tag topper for my July calendar:
I stamped the vine and trumpet flower with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Gina’s Ivory Pure Luxury Heavy Base Weight cardstock that I cut into a 3” x 5” tag shape, then colored with these Copic markers: YG61, YG63, YG67, R20, R22, R24, R29, YR01, YR02. The flowers are actually more red than they appear in the photo … my camera seemed to be focusing on the Just Peachy die cut accent and lighter colors in the flowers! I had to take a photo of the tag outdoors, to get a truer representation of the colors. The centers of the flowers are accented with Copic Red Atyou Spica Glitter Pen:
I love the scripture in this set -- it's stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink. As an alternative softer look to show you, I also stamped the vine with Memento Bamboo Leaves and colored it with YG61 and YG63 Copic markers, so you can see the difference:
So keep in mind that you can also use any of Memento’s colored inks along with your Copics – they work just as well as the black and brown!
Our second stamp set today is All Occasion Tags – Illustrated by Tami Mayberry. This is a fabulous sentiment and tag set that will have you covered for ANY occasion!
I made a quick notecard set, from a couple of pre-printed packs of notecards I recently found on sale at a craft store. The orange and pink cards didn’t have a sentiment on the fronts, but had the popped up flower accent. The floral notecards had “Thank You” printed along the white edge/top (covered up with the green ribbon on the upper right card below):
It was simple and quick to make this set of cards -- I just stamped all of the tags in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Gina’s White Pure Luxury Heavy Base Weight cardstock, then stamped several sentiments with other Memento colors that coordinated with my notecards!
A little ribbon and a few colored rhinestones dress up the cards and tags a bit. The tags are all adhered with Pop Dots. And what makes them REALLY quick, is that the tags match Spellbinders Grommet Tag dies!
With TWELVE different sentiments and FOUR different tag designs to choose from, you can make a set of cards for any occasion in no time at all! Now isn’t that better than just having a set of dollar bin printed cards that all say “Thank You”?!!
