Our first featured stamp set today is Vintage Notes by Tami Mayberry -- I love the shabby-ness of this!
I thought this set would be perfect for scrapbook page journaling, so I scrapped a recent event in our family -- my youngest daughter broke her arm a month ago. This photo was of her right after getting out of surgery, to have it set:
I stamped the Vintage Note stamp with Memento Rich Cocoa ink onto Gina’s Ivory Heavy Weight cardstock and then die cut it with Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles die and made it into a tag by making a reinforced hole in the top.
The “journaling prompts” were stamped with Memento Rose Bud ink and then journaling done with Copic Baby Blue Atyou Spica Glitter Pen. That great little paperclip is also a stamp from this set! The pretty pink & chocolate patterned paper is brand new Gina K Designs Pure Luxury Paper -- Sunshiny Day -- (I just colored the green dots between the flowers with Copic E29 marker, since I had no other green on the page!
Our next featured stamp set today is Sweet Strawberries by Theresa Momber -- Isn’t this a perfectly sweet set for Summer cards, scrapbook pages and projects?!!
I decided strawberry jam would make a nice little gift, and this set was perfect for it!
I stamped the small strawberry plant with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored it with these Copic markers:
The Copic Melon Atyou Spica Glitter Pen was used to color the tiny stems of the plant:
To finish the jar topper, I airbrushed Copic B0000 over the background. The tag was stamped using Rhubarb Stalk and Bamboo Leaves Memento Markers and the background also airbrushed to match the topper. The darling strawberry patterned paper I wrapped around the jar is from another brand new patterned paper pack from Gina, called Berries and Vines -- isn’t it fabulous and a perfect match to this stamp set?!!
