Today we are featuring Basket Additions 3 by Melanie Muenchinger:
I love Melanie’s basket topper stamp sets – there are so many creative things you can do with them and this set is fabulously versatile! I decided to pair up these sweet Halloween goblins with the new Sunkissed Autumn 6” Pure Luxury Patterned Paper pack and go with a fall colored/themed Halloween tag:
These cuties were stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink on Gina’s Heavy Base Weight Ivory Cardstock and then colored with Copic markers (colors shown below). A piece of one of the patterns in the paper pack was machine stitched to the tag, accented with chocolate ribbon and a twine-tied ivory button.
The tag was finished with the Happy Halloween sentiment stamped with Memento Potter’s Clay ink.
Our second featured set today is Country Roads by Theresa Momber:
This whole set is reminiscent of my childhood, growing up in west Texas where there were plenty of country roads and most all of the images in this set! I chose the mailboxes and “Sending Happy Thoughts” sentiment to stamp on an Inchie Arts Ivory Twinchie Square:
The mailboxes were colored with the Copic markers and Silver Atyou Spica Glitter Pen shown below:
(The W0 and W1 markers were only used on the Halloween tag skeleton). Three different patterns of the beautiful Sunkissed Autumn paper were cut and adhered to a 4” x 5.25” piece of ivory cardstock, which was popped up on the ivory card base. The stamped Inchie Square was also popped up on foam tape and accented with a twine-tied button, chocolate ribbon and scalloped orange cardstock die cut.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this step into a cooler taste of Autumn today … I know I’m certainly ready for temps below 100 degrees!
