True Stamp Event!

Hi, Everyone -- This evening I have a little PSA about a great upcoming stamping event I just found out about!  

 

About the Event: True Stamp is an innovative one-day event bringing together top-notch stamping sponsors and instructors in a LIVE, online environment. Attendees will get the best in paper crafting instruction, right to their computers. Featuring some of your favorite stamp companies as sponsors, such as Technique Tuesday, Lawn Fawn, Simon Says Stamp, Raisin Boat, Paper Smooches, and Unity Stamp Co., you're promised a full day of inspiration, creativity and fun! AND it's all recorded, so if you want to watch you can revisit your favorite classes again and again - and it's all included in the one low registration fee.

Date: True Stamp is scheduled for Saturday, March 9, 2013. Mark off the whole day to spend stamping away!

Cost: ALL SIX classes and full replays of the event are included in the one low registration fee of $97. But readers of my blog can save $20 by entering code CREATE at checkout!  Discount ends next Monday, February 18, 2013.

Love is in the Air...

Since one of my favorite holidays is next week, I dedicated today's project over in Ellen Hutson's the CLASSroom to some of my most loved papercrafting products . . . and got a much needed Valentine card out of it, too!  I hope you'll join me there for all the details on how I created this card!

Balanced Gina Birthday Hop!

Today is the birthday of a very dear friend -- Gina Krupsky, founder of Gina K Designs and StampTV.  I'm very honored to have designed for her stamp company for the past two years (and known her for a few more before that!) and I don't know how she does all that she does!  So for her birthday today, the design team has put together a little birthday blog hop and here's a card I came up with for her:

I think this is probably the only way Gina can get everything done that she does -- just by trying to stay balanced! LOL -- I love this Balanced Diva so much, I started doing yoga again!  I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto my favorite GKD Ivory Heavy Base Weight cardstock and colored her with these Copic markers:

And I gave her a cute belly button showing!  I printed my own greeting from the computer onto Gina K Ivory Layering Weight cardstock, die cut it into a flag shape and secured it to the card with a tied Ocean Mix button.

The 4.25" card base is Turquoise Sea cardstock, accented with some aqua washi tape. I really wanted to stamp the "Namaste" sentiment that comes with this set where I put the ying-yang symbol but I've lost the darn thing -- ugh!  :)
