So I DID use my Cuttlebug a while back and thought I'd share a creation. I used the Textile A2 embossing folder on copper sheet metal by Ten Seconds Studio that I got at my local paper crafting store. After emossing the copper, I rubbed pumpkin and brown StazOn pads over the impressions to highlight them. Because the sheet metal was also A2 sized, I had to cut pieces to fit inside this wooden frame I found at Michaels (painted with brown acrylic paint). I adhered the metal to the frame with Tacky Tape. Finished off with some ribbon and metal embellishment from Making Memories and a photo of my sweet youngest daughter! Voila' -- an expensive and antique looking keepsake for about $8 (if you don't count the Cuttlebug supplies!) ;)

Exquisite!! I just discovered how AMAZING the Cuttlebug embossing folders are - they work so great on my Big Shot machine! Check out my blog - www.paperwoods.com - for a post on my first project using one. I'm a huge fan of dry embossing, and this makes it so, so much easier! Anyway, I haven't seen this Textile one you used on this project in my local stores, but it's definitely going on my list. I love the colors you used too!

This is beautiful. I just love how easy it is to emboss just about ANYTHING with the Cuttlebug. This makes a wonderful framing for that sweet picture. TFS

STUNNING! SO you cut strips of the metal and put them in - and then adhered them in the frame - I cannot even see a seam! WOW! What a beauty in the photo Sharon!

Sharon, this is ABSOLUTELY stunning. I have purchased some metal to play with and just haven't gotten around to it. You have TOTALLY inspired me to get it out and play!
