Hi everyone, I'm back from a fabulous time in southern California with some wonderful friends -- we all had a blast and it was so much fun meeting a bunch of great ladies! Many congratulations and thanks to Jami, Joy & Emily for putting on a wonderful weekend!!
As promised, since we crossed that 50,000 visit mark on my blog, I'd like to thank you with a wonderful gift. I don't have everything ready yet, but I promise, it will be worth it! I have a stamping deadline due this Friday that I will be working on all week, so here's what you need to do this week . . . if you'd like to enter the drawing for the giveaway, please post a question below that you'd like me to answer by Friday at 6pm CST -- that's it! It can be a stamping-related question or personal. Then I'll gradually answer these questions over the coming weeks.
I'll let a random number generator pick the luck winners on Saturday and then I'll be so excited to get back to FUN stamping next week! Have a great week, everyone!
What is your favorite Stampin' Up! stamp set?

Hi Sharon, congratulations on getting so many hits...your blog is great. My question is this...What tips can you give someone who is just starting out trying to get published? Should he/she stick to one publication or spread out his/her work amongst many?
thanks.

Like you, I have two little girls at home and I'm wondering when you find the time to stamp. Also, where do you find your inspiration?
Thanks! Congrats on 50K!!

Awesome blog Sharon! Congrats on hitting 50, 000! My question...what is your all time go to stamp set (SU! or other)?
Posted by: amber b | April 30, 2007 at 11:33 AM
Congrats Sharon!
I recently received an edge distresser...it's a cirle with a section cut out of it (looks like pac-man). I am wondering if you could show how to use it with pictures. Thanks!

Sharon,
50,000!!! Congrats!
So, do you have a favorite set that has been retired?

Hi Sharon, Great job on 50,000 hits. It must make you feel so proud. I guess that is my question: Are you proud of your accomplishments?
Posted by: Carol | April 30, 2007 at 11:47 AM
Congratulations Sharon! Your blog is great! Okay, my question is: do you ever sell your creations and if so, how do you decide what to charge? Thanks so much! Alex

Hi Sharon,
I was wondering what scoring tool you might recommend? Right now, the best that works for me is to lay the card stock on my cutter and run a stylus down across the middle of the card stock.
Congrats on 50,000!

50,000?! That's fantastic! Here's my question -
What would you do to set up a craft area if you were unable to have an entire room for yourself?
Congratulations again!

When you first joined Splitcoaststampers, which stampers did you "idolize" or look up to for inspiration? Thanks for the drawing opportunity!

Sharon, Congrats on 50,000 hits! You have a wonderful blog and I enjoy it very much. Outside of stamping, what other hobbies do you enjoy?
Posted by: Terri | April 30, 2007 at 01:02 PM
For me, stamping is like an addiction, and once I get started, everything else falls to the wayside until I feel ready to come up for air. Is stamping like this for your too? How have you balanced stamping with other responsibilites?
Posted by: Petals | April 30, 2007 at 01:05 PM
Sharon, How do you feel about SU! "In Colors" being discontinued forever? I'm really upset that they will be gone, because they are some of my favorite colors. I think they should keep them available.
Posted by: Lynn Brown | April 30, 2007 at 01:05 PM
Congrats on the milestone! Love your blog and your beautiful creations. My question (almost seems kind of silly), but... how do you store your ribbon? Love to know, as I am battling the ribbon war every day! LOL!
Posted by: Elizabeth | April 30, 2007 at 01:18 PM
okay... the minute I posted my question, I realized that you had already answered it! I thought I remembered that... doh! okay, how bout this one - if you could choose only one stamp to take with you to an isolated desert isle... which would it be?
Posted by: Elizabeth | April 30, 2007 at 01:20 PM
What technique would you say is the most challenging for you personally?
Posted by: Allison | April 30, 2007 at 01:31 PM
First off Congratulations! You are a blog queen and I love coming here. I didn't read through the other questions so I wouldn't get any ideas what to ask. What is your favorite embellishment? Thanks for all the sharing you do. We commoners really appreciate learning from a pro! ;)

Great blog, I read it everyday! My question...hmmmm...what is a stamping goal (like being published, on a design team, etc.) that you dream of achieving? I know you have done a lot already though!!!

Hi Sharon,
Congrats on 50,000 hits - it is definitely well deserved. My question for you is: "In what order do you create a card? Do you start with the colors, or a certain stamp or something else entirely?"

Sometimes people that have stamped for a long time feel like there is nothing new out there. What is the latest thing that made you say "Wow, that is cool?" Thanks so much and congrats!!!

Sharon it was so fun getting to meet you this weekend. You are a blast to hang out with!
My question is how do you usually start a card? Do you start with the layout, with an image, with the colors, with certain ribbon...?
