Julie Brooks

Oh Sharon I LOVE IT!!!! I knew you would make my jaw drop!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Stamper Gail

Great minds think alike Sharon. I recently ordered 5 of the original ones to make calendars for Christmas gifts. I usually do them for my family members for their desks at work and sometimes they just don't hold up all year just using the regular binding so when I saw her recipe cards, I thought hummm, these would work great for my calendars. Didn't know that my idea wasn't original though, cuz you beat me to it! I'll probably keep mine a little more simple because my family isn't into all the deco style, but I'm sure I'll have fun making whatever designs I come up with. I'm thinking about posting one for every month of the following year on my blog. Can't wait to see all of your monthly pages.

That looks wonderful! What a cool calendar!

Where do you get the page protectors and how do you make the actual calendar grid? Beautiful work!

What a great gift idea Sharon!!! I work in an office with four other ladies that would love this on their desks! Your designs are beautiful (as usual). I especially like how you used the ribbon...it covers the writing on the protector and is a lovely embellishment. Appreciate you sharing Julie's store info too. Enjoy your weekend!

So fabulous!! When I read Julie's blog I didn't understand at all, I thought I did, lol. This is a wonderful idea that can be used in many different ways. TFS.

This calendar page is beautiful! I'm now on a quest to find the other calendar pages you've done. I loved the recipe album you uploaded last year on SCS, your altered art work is just amazing. Thank you for sharing your talent, you give us all inspiration to pull out our stamps and create.

I love it -- what a wonderful project!!! The style of this holder is very similar to a napkin holder one of my boys made in shop class in school -- hhhhhmmmmmm --- with VERY little altering, it MAY have a new life -- LOL!!!
