Each month for the past 3 or 4, the current and past SplitcoastStampers.com Design Team members have been getting together for a little challenge. Some of us were also able to get together a few weeks ago at the Winter Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) show in Anaheim, CA, so I thought I'd share a photo we all took (do you know how hard it is to get 14 ladies to all look at the same camera at one time, when there are about 8 cameras flashing around you?)!! Many thanks to my friend, Lori, who shared this photo with me:
L-R Back: Jami Sibley, Natasha Trupp, Jen del Muro, Sherrie Siemens, Trudee Sauer, Jeanne Streiff, Jenn Balcer, Debbie Olson, Linda Duke. L-R Seated: Lisa Johnson, Kittie Caracciolo, Sherry Cheever, Valerie Stangle, Me. Several others were in attendance but had previous commitments that night and/or missed this photo: Ellen Hutson, Anna Wight, Taylor Van Bruggen (hope I didn't forget anyone!). What a fun time we all had!
This month's challenge was to use stamps designed/illustrated by fellow Dirty Girls. Some of those include: Lisa Strahl for Cornish Heritage Farms, Melanie Muenchinger for Gina K Designs and AnnaWight for Whipper Snapper. A required element was a Spring color combo and the restriction was NO Cuttlebug, Big Shot, Wizard or similar diecut/embossing machines. Aaaccckkk . . . you don't know how many times I started to reach for my Wizard and dies! But I did it . . . here's my project:
My monthly 6x6 calendar page to fit in the Veritcal Album hanger from Doodliedoo. I used Anna Wight's Shy Bunny and Topiary Perch. Here's some closeups of these darling images (my favorites of Anna's Spring release!) -- click on the thumbnails for a closer view:
I stamped them with Brilliance Pearlescent Chocolate on Curious Iridescent Poison Ivory cardstock, colored them with Copic markers, and cut them out.
The 6-inch base is Prismatics Intense Kiwi (seems to be my favorite color right now!) I used this week's CPS Sketch #52 for my layout. The patterned paper is from BasicGrey's Oh Baby Girl (I believe) and the pink & green flowers really said Spring to me. The edges of the paper were distressed with Tonic's Edge Distresser and inked with Tea Dye Distress Ink by Ranger. I created the calendar myself and printed it onto Poison Ivory cardstock. I stamped the Topiary with Ranger's Lettuce Adirondack ink on the green background.
The page is finished with sparkly Sugar Coated Brads (pastel assortment) by Doodlebug. I colored them with the same pink Copic marker I used for the little bird in the topiary. Green grid trim is by Creative Impressions.

This is just so adorable!!!! I love everything about it!

Your DD pic is better than any of the 3 from my camera...but hey you have Bad Sherry listed as Sherry Seimens (she is actually BC Sherry) - you meant Sherry Cheever. :)

These images really are adorable. I love that cute little bunny bottom poking out of the flower pot! Love all the distressing on your page, too.

Thanks for sharing the DD picture! I have been enjoying the results of the monthly challenges and I'm trying to visit the blogs of all the dirty girls. This list really helps!

WONERFUL, BEAUTIFUL, MUST HAVE, and EXCEPTIONAL!!! You are going to cause me to be penniless soon, LOL. I have to do the calendar pages, which I had managed so well to be sensible about. I have a LARGE office calendar on my desk...but it isn't PRETTY. TFS, I think.
P.S. I love your banner!
