Here's a quick and easy gift/card idea using JustRite stamps. Their Christmas Set Ensemble has come in very handy for me around the holidays . . . there's such a great mix of stamps just perfect for many holiday occasions & gifts! And while linking to this stamp set, I see JustRite has a special going on -- you can add the wooden mount for this set to your order for just $4.95!
This box of Harry & David Bing Cherry Chocolates found at Target was very easy to alter and make into a more presentable quick gift. Here's what the box looked like before altering -- I liked the shape:
As you can see, I just used a few scrap pieces of patterned paper, cut with some Spellbinders Nestabilities dies (Classic & Scalloped Circle Nestabilities, Scalloped Long Rectangle MegaNestabilities and Scalloped Classic Rectangle Nestabilities) to fit around the front circle cut-out and cover up the box labeling. Otherwise, the box colors worked well with my patterned papers (Fancy Pants Happy Holidays).
The Merry Christmas center was inked with Tsukineko VersaMagic Red Brick chalk ink and then Jumbo Java applied around the edges of the stamp. The VersaMagic Dew Drop shape also made it easy to individually ink the candy canes and bell/holly around the border with Red Brick & Spanish Olive.
Some gold metallic ribbon was threaded through the Merry Christmas center at the top of the box of cherries, to resemble an ornament. The card came together quickly by using a pretty patterned notcard from My Mind's Eye (Festive Card kit). Buttons were added for accents, otherwise all I added was the Merry Christmas center with a scalloped mat of WorldWin Medium Outdoorsy Olive, popped-up!
I hope to have one more quick JustRite project for you by Christmas Eve!
How cute, love how you have dressed up the container and the neat circle opening around the hole! The card is so pretty, I thought for sure that must be a rubon between red and green papers, so cute!
