Thanks for stopping by this Saturday. I needed a quick thank you note and Taylor's sketch challenge #80 this week was exactly the answer I was looking for. With it, this card came together VERY quickly! I stamped Karen Lockhart's Buttermilk Hen (#2094) onto Neenah Natural White cardstock and colored her with Copic markers. I started with Copic markers R85 & R89, as suggested by Papertrey Ink that would match their Scarlet Jewel cardstock, ribbon & buttons I used. G85, G99, E55, E57 and W3 were also used to color the hen. Black Spica glitter pen was used for her dots, and my custom lighter Copic YR31 was used to airbrush the background while the die cut cardstock was still in the die, leaving a nice white rim for contrast. The patterned paper was trimmed with pinking scissors and the ribbon was pleated and machine stitched to the card. Tied buttons finish off this quick card -- I'll definitely be using this sketch layout some more! I hope you are enjoying your weekend!
