Today's sneak peeks are of two different new Taylored Expressions stamp sets that will be released tomorrow (Sept 5) AND a new Halloween Key Ingredients kit that includes Basic Grey's cute new Eerie paper and all this ==> (click for a larger view). There will be two different Halloween bundles available, one for each of these Halloween stamp sets the Baker's Dozen are previewing for you today (kits are the same, except for the stamp sets).
You'll be able to see the new stamp sets in their entirety on the Taylored Expressions blog tomorrow!
I chose to make my 6-inch calendar for October. As you can see, it hangs in this wonderful Frame Your Imagination wooden stand that I stained to match my desk:
I computer generated the calendar myself and then die cut it, but you could also use some of Taylored Expressions' dated calendar inserts. Keep in mind that my calendars can always be used as a scrapbook page, just by replacing the calendar with a photo -- just to give you some additional ideas!
After die cutting the calendar, I stamped the spider web with Versamark Champagne Dazzle ink (hopefully you can see that in this photo -- click on it for a larger view).
The 6-inch background paper and cute little frog's cauldron was paper pieced with some of the patterned paper from the Halloween Key Ingredients kit. Froggy was colored with Copic markers YG25, Y11, YR12 & T5 and Star Dust Stickles used on the bubbles.
The lower horizontal green strip is also a stamp from this set -- isn't it fun?!! I stamped it in black on some of the green Prism cardstock from the KI kit.
I used Taylor's Sketch Challenge #81 for the layout of my calendar. You can find the sketch today on Taylor's blog and join in on the fun this holiday weekend.
You can see more samples with this cute Spooky Expressions stamp set AND the adorable Cuppies in Trick or Sweet II today, by visiting the blogs of the Baker's Dozen Design Team: Charmaine Ikach, Dawn Easton, Denise Marzec, Donna Baker, Jackie Pedro, Jodi Collins, Karen Giron, Karen Motz, Laura Fredrickson, Laurie Schmidlin, Sankari Wegman and of course, Taylor.

Great calendar page. I like your idea of used a die cut to shape the calendar into something other than a square.
