Today the Taylored Expressions Baker's Dozen designers are showcasing a brand new product: Taylored Card Kits! Each kit is jam-packed with:
10 Choice Cardstock A-2 card bases
10 A-2 envelopes
15 sheets of patterned paper sized for cardmaking at 4" x 6" (3 sheets each of 5 double-sided patterns)
20 sheets of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Prism cardstock (4 sheets each of 5 colors)
1 package of Kaisercraft Pearls
8 panels of Choice Cardstock size 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (for images and layering)
5 yards of ribbon (2.5 yards each of 2 different styles)
1 Perfect Package Card Box
Even after I used some of the above supplies to decorate the Card Box and make five cards, I still had enough materials left over to make at least SEVEN more cards with as much patterned paper as I used on these cards shown. Here's what I still HAVE LEFT in my kit:
WOW! I estimate you could probably make about 3-4 MORE cards than the 12, if you use less patterned paper than I did! And all for just $14.95 ... what a great value and wonderful Christmas gifts these kits would make! I just did the math ... that's only .93 cents to make 16 cards AND you get the Perfect Package Card Box to go with it!! There are 3 kits to choose from and each have a coordinating Copic Kit available!
Here are a few details about my cards:
PERFECT PACKAGE CARD BOX: I coverd the box with the dark teal cardstock layered behind the patterned papers and then die cut a 5-part flower from more of the paper. This is another one of those great Card Boxes I showed you last Friday, that is sized perfectly to hold standard A2 cards. The box folds flat for shipping and storage but pops open easily & quickly.
The stamp set I used for all these cards is Discover Your Wings. I did NOT add any other kind of embellishment except what comes in the kit!
Card 1: Butterfly was stamped with yellow ink, cut out and glittered, and popped up on foam tape.
Card 2: Butterfly was stamped in aqua ink and glittered. A trail was pierced and then studded with pearls from the kit.
Card 3: Silhouette flowers stamped in olive ink, die cut and pearls accent the flower centers.
Card 4: I tried to keep at least one card a bit on the masculine side, with no bows or pearls! Love this swirly butterfly and olive/burgundy color scheme.
Card 5: I stamped this cool, funky butterfly once onto pink patterned paper and again on olive cardstock; then cut them out and adhered them together to get the two-toned effect. She is popped up on foam tape. Pearls colored green with Copic YG95 marker accent the top of the pink edge-punched panel.
So, you can see that I EASILY have enough supplies left to duplicate each of these cards again ... maybe twice! That's a fabulous value these days, folks!
