Today the Taylored Expressions Baker's Dozen Designers are showing you sneak peeks of THREE new stamp sets that will be available on Friday, December 4: Sweet Occasions, Crafty Cuppie and Crafty Expressions. I'm showcasing Sweet Occasions ... a stamp set conceptualized by my good friend, Jami Sibley!
I love these fresh, cute sentiments interlaced with sweet images ... literally! The set contains this cupcake with "thanks", a gingerbread house with "congrats", a heart/sugar cookie with "friend" and a bowl full of ice cream scoops with "celebrate"! There are also six additional sentiments in this set, along with four miniature images that coordinate with the larger images. I used the mini flower on the background inside the "thanks" box, stamped in a pale pink ink. You'll be able to see the full set tomorrow on the Taylored Expressions blog or maybe find all the images in the sneak peeks today!
I stamped the focal image with Memento Rich Cocoa ink onto some of the light pink solid patterned paper from Basic Grey's Bittersweet 6x6 pad and colored it with these Copic markers and Spica glitter pens (Lipstick & Chocolate):
Chocolate Spica Glitter Pen outlines the "thanks" sentiment and Lipstick sparkles up the cherry -- yummo! The image was cut out by hand, matted with chocolate cardstock, and popped up on Taylored Expressions' foam tape. I hand cut the patterned background papers and zig-zag stitched them together with chocolate thread onto a chocolate card base. Did you catch all that chocolate color? Guess what I was eating while creating this card last night? LOL!
The edges of the background papers were distressed and a tied button finishes it all off.
I hope you'll blog hop again today to see what the Baker's Dozen girls have cooked up for today's sneak peeks: Taylor VanBruggen, Charmaine Ikach, Dawn Easton, Donna Baker, Jackie Pedro, Jami Sibley, Jodi Collins, Karen Giron, Karen Motz, Laurie Schmidlin, and Sankari Wegman.
