Spring Cards With Dies & Copics!

Spring is definitely in the air -- things are greening up and the temperature is climbing! To celebrate, I made some Spring cards that were quick & easy, with the help of dies and of course my beloved Copic markers! This beautiful floral bouquet stamp is brand new from Karen Lockhart! JustRite Blog Hop Day 3 & Copic Projects!

Today is the final day of JustRite Stampers' March Mega Blog Hop. You can find the list of participating designers' blogs over at the JustRite Inspiration blog today and start out on your way to a LOT of inspiration! I also have this project posted there, with all the details -- It's my April 4-inch coaster calendar, using my downloadable 3-inch calendar template and gorgeous new Webster's Pages Petite Papers-Life's Portrait. JustRite's beautiful hydrangea was stamped onto patterned Webster's Pages paper and then colored with Copic markers: I love stamping on coordinating patterned papers -- that way, you are assured your image will coordinate nicely with the rest of your project and your Copics will do a great job of covering up some of the patterns of the paper, which gives a great look (click on the photo for a closer view)! JustRite Mega March Blog Hop Day 2 - $600 of Giveaways!

Welcome to Day Two of JustRite Stampers' Mega March Blog Hop! The project I have for you today is Copic colored and airbrushed Easter eggs, using floral stamp images from JustRite's Beautiful Blossoms and Breath of Spring sets. No, these aren't real eggs -- they are white wooden ones I found at Hobby Lobby last Easter season, so I don't know if you could still find these exact ones. Since JustRite's stamps are unmounted and flexible rubber, I was able to use the stamp by itself (as opposed to mounted to its wood block) and wrap it around the curved surfaces of the eggs! Now, admittedly, I didn't get absolutely perfectly stamped images, but it was close enough that I could fill in a little here and there with a Copic Black Multiliner 0.3 pen (remember, these are color-safe with your Copic markers). I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink and heat set it with my heat tool: DISCLAIMER: I happened to luck out with the combination of ink and fake egg surface here. Huge Blog Hop This Week With Giveaways!

New Hobby Lobby Copic Colors!

Hey, everyone -- If you haven't been in to your local Hobby Lobby store lately, they may have just recently received their new shipments of 72 ADDITIONAL Copic marker colors (mine has)! Yes, they added 72 more colors -- making their assortment now 144 colors! Of course, I updated the marker chart I have for them and you can find it for downloading from my Copic Info page HERE. Floral Doorhanger

Good Morning! And a great morning it IS here -- the sun is shining and it's supposed to be in the 60's today ... it can't get much better than that! Since I was in such a Springy mood, I couldn't help but use some of this gorgeous new Graphic 45 paper, combined with some pretty Hero Arts stamps. March Calendar

I bet you all thought I forgot about my March calendar? I've just been busy but it's been bothering me the last few days that I don't have my desk calendar to look at, so I took a quick few minutes to put this together: This is the same kind of 4-inch coaster calendar that I started last month -- I just added to the back of February and will continue this little "book" through the year. I thought this green Basic Grey Origins paper would be perfect for the Luck 'O the Irish month! And what goes better with green than some sweet daisies! Karen Lockhart's Daisy Cupcake was stamped onto Inchie Arts Inchie + Ivory Square with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored with these Copic markers: Copic's Lemon Spica Glitter Pen accents the daisy centers. White gel pen was used to make the daisies pop against the ivory Inchie Square. The Inchie + Square was inked with Antique Linen Distress ink and popped up with foam tape and layered onto a Labels Thirteen die cut.
