Yes, I think everything would be JUST FINE if I were By The Sea right now, LOL! In the mean time, this fabulous brand new stamp set from JustRite Stampers will have to suffice!
It's time for JustRite Stampers' April release and we're starting previews AND PREORDERING today! Yes, JustRite is now accepting preorders for April's FIVE new stamp sets! You can find all five sets and brand new preorder terms HERE -- you won't be billed for your preorders until the order ships! For the next five days, we'll be sneak peeking each new set at the JustRite Inspiration blog, so be sure to check there each day.
I could not wait to use this wonderful new beachy, sea set, By The Sea -- I'm a beach bum at heart and would be oh-so happy if I could just sit in that adirondack chair under an umbrella, with my feet in the sand ALL DAY LONG!!
Aren't these new illustrations fabulous?!! The details are amazing -- I'm in love!!
We like to collect sand and shells from the beaches we visit and we're planning a family trip to St. Thomas this summer (can.not.wait)! So I thought I would go ahead and prepare this keepsake jar so it's all ready for filling when we return from our vacation! It will be a nice "scrapbook in a jar" reminder of fun family times together.
I stamped the shell image with Memento Rich Cocoa ink onto Neenah Natural White cardstock and then colored it with Copic markers listed below. I'll have a step-out for you of the detailed coloring in another post shortly. The seaweed border was colored with Copic's Olive Atyou Spica Glitter Pen and BG13 Copic marker. I also used the BG13 to color the Spellbinders Classic Oval Nestabilities die embossed border around the outer edge.
Graphic 45's On The Boardwalk 8x8 paper makes a band round the jar and dictated the colors for my shell stamped image.
I used another great image from this large oval set on the jar topper -- I just die cut it with a Spellbinders Classic Circle Nestabilities die. I'll also have detailed Copic coloring for this image soon. I used JustRite's 2-3/8" Round Wood Stamper to make my custom wording with JustRite's Times New Roman Uppercase & Lowercase fonts:
This project also fits today's JustRite Friday Challenge #014: Double Vision, sponsored by Spellbinders (you could win a Spellbinders prize!). You must use two different Spellbinders dies and two different JustRite stamp sets. Check it out HERE!
Heidi Blankenship & Kellie Fortin also have samples for you today of this new set, so please visit each of their blogs for some more wonderful inspiration! I'll be back tomorrow with another sneak peek of another new set from JustRite!

this is beautiful!!! What a great idea. I think I will "lift" this idea. I have some sand and shells from Aruba (my honeymoon) that I haven't figured out what to do. It only has taken almost 13 years to do something :)

Is it my imagination or is JustRite getting better and better? Or is it the gorgeous artwork you created with it? How about both!!

As Father's Day gets near the need for male themed stamps come about. This stamp can fit this need. I love it for the vacation feel of the set. I could see myself in that chair on a beach somewhere...don't really care where as along as it's warm!!!
