Today's JustRite Stampers new April release sneak peek set is called Kaliedoscope:
It's a wonderful collection of medallion centers and a combination of decorative and sentiment borders:
For my sample, I had fun using the medallion to make a custom background paper, by stamping it with a hot pink dye ink (Ranger Adirondack Watermelon) on Neenah Natural White cardstock. I also used the medallion as a focal point by stamping it in Adirondack Slate dye ink, cutting it with Spellbinders Classic Circle Nestabilities die, and layering it onto the sentiment border that was stamped with the Watermelon ink and die cut with Scalloped Circle Nestabilities. I love this sentiment "Do one thing every day that makes you happy"! It was accented with a pink Zva crystal.
The October Afternoon Cherry Hill 8x8 gray dotted background paper edges were distressed and then it was machine stitched to a cream 5.25" square card base. A pink satin ribbon, tied up with the Bow Easy, finishes this card.
I hope you'll check the JustRite blog today for some more great projects using this wonderful set! I'll be back tomorrow with another sneak peek!
