Welcome to the 10th week of JustRite Stampers’ Wednesday feature, 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hops! Every Wednesday up until Thanksgiving we have been showcasing JustRite’s entire Christmas Collection of stamps! Don’t forget that JustRite has some Christmas stamps in their newly released CLING line of stamp sets, too -- you can find them HERE.
For the month of November we thought we would also throw in some holiday gift ideas for any of your JustRite stamps, so be watching for those, too, on November’s hops! And in celebration of JustRite’s 10th week of Christmas Blog Hops, they have a huge surprise for you -- take 25% off All JustRite Original Christmas Stamps now through November 29 -- Don't forget to tell Santa!
My project today uses one of those Original Christmas stamp sets that’s on sale, 3-1/4" round Old Fashioned Christmas – I love these sweet snow people!
This box of Friendship Tea started off looking like this:
I admit to this guilty pleasure of water flavoring and go through quite a lot of these! (They measure 2.75" wide x 4.50" tall x 1.25" deep). So I wanted to find a cute repurpose for the boxes and thought a gift box of some sort, for teachers, neighbors & friends for the holidays might be nice.
So I covered the box with some cute coordinating Basic Grey Jovial papers. Next, I stamped the snowmen with Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic X-Press It Blender Card and colored them with these Copic markers, to match the papers:
I die cut the snowmen with Spellbinders Big Scalloped Square Nestabilities die and while the cardstock was still in the die, I airbrushed it with Copic B10 marker.
The custom worded tag was created with JustRite's Times New Roman 25-point font and then die cut with Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio. On the side of the box, I used the wording from the Old Fashioned Christmas 3-1/4" round border -- after stamping it, I just cut the words apart and glued them to the side of the box:
The box is the perfect size to house a few favorite tea bags and perhaps a small candy cane stick or two!
