Here they are, finally -- my 2011 downloadable calendars! I decided to offer a different shape & size this year, in addition to the smaller 3" and larger 4" grid calendars I've offered in the past. There is one slight change this year and I hope those of you that use my calendars for gifts, selling the calendars you make at craft shows and for personal projects will understand: I'm charging $2.50 for each type of downloadable calendar this year.
You'll receive all 12 months of the particular size of calendar you purchase in a file that I will email you in PDF form and then it's yours to print as many times as you'd like, on any type of paper you wish. I'll accept PayPal checking account transfers or a mailed check/cash/money order (file will be emailed to you upon receipt of your cash or money order, or upon your check clearing my bank). I hope you understand the time and energy that goes into creating these downloads and won't mind the slight fee for my efforts! All of this information and the calendar downloads will be included on my Download Page, as well as additional ordering information.
Now, on to the new size & shape I created ... Each month is the size of one-half of a sheet of 8.50" x 11" cardstock and there are two months on each sheet. I've named these "2011 Grid 2-Pg Calendars" (2 per page):
All you have to do after printing each sheet is cut the sheet of cardstock in half (yielding you two different months) and then trim approximately 3/8" off the lower edge, where my site & copyright information appear -- or you can just cover that up with some ribbon or an embellishment, as I did in my January sample above.
Then you can either bind the top of the calendar with your choice of binding machine (or take the calendar pages to an office supply store to have them bind the calendar for you) or punch holes in the tops of the pages and bind the calendar with either binder rings or ribbon/twine, as I did here.
The actual calendar grid (measuring approximately 4.50" wide x 4" tall, including the printed date) is the same as I've provided in previous years and have used on 6" pieces of patterned papers), as seen in THIS example (the calendars are just trimmed down). I've just given you more room at the top this year, giving you different options on using them. The calendar grid takes up at least 4.50" of the bottom half of the half sheet. This leaves you with at least 4" at the top of the half sheet for decorating (approximately the area of a standard A2 sized greeting card front):
The calendar will stand up on a desk, by just spreading the pages apart, in an "A" shape:
I chose this beautiful Webster's Pages Petite Papers-Hollywood Vogue pattern because I love the colors and really liked the verse printed on it: "imagine ... live your dreams". I thought it was appropriate for the beginning of a new year! I used Lockhart Stamp Company's Noel Angel and just omitted the "NOEL" words from her banner, replacing them with "2011" that I wrote in with a black Copic Multiliner 0.3 pen.
The angel was colored with the Copic markers listed below and the wings colored with BG000 & BG0000, then accented with Clear Atyou Spica Glitter Pen. She was cut out and adhered with foam tape to an Inchie Arts Ivory Twinchie Square, to help give her some definition so she wouldn't get lost in the background papers.
The other sizes of 2011 calendars I have available for download are the same 3" ones I used last year on 4" chipboard coasters (dated and undated, you'll receive both versions) -- you can see an example HERE. And a little bit larger version of the that same 3" calendar in a 3.50" size (dated and undated). The calendars are just a little bit smaller than those measurements, so that an approximate 3" or 3.5" die will cut them out.
You can find all of these new 2011 calendars and download/payment instructions on my Download Page. I hope you enjoy them!

Hi Sharon,
First let me tell you that I'm a huge fan of yours. You are so creative.
I've decided to make calendars this year, both large and small. I'm still a little stymied about the small 4x4 craft board calendars. Do the months stand alone or are they as I saw in one blog attached to the back of the previous month? How do you attach the ribbon holding the different months because they are all different?
Will order download your files as soon as I have a clue.
Thanks,
Lynn

Your calendars got even cuter this year than last. I am loving the book calendar...although would it work to have it set up as an accordion folding. I know you would might/need more desk space. I think I could still attach weigh the 2" inch ribbons. Would it work? Downloads here I come!
