Today JustRite Stampers is introducing this new 1-5/8” Original Ribbed stamp set, From My Kitchen. It will be perfect for yummy homemade gifts, don’t you think?!!
These centers are also made to fit inside JustRite’s Charmed Cling stamp set, to give the stamps a whole different, customized look!
It’s been a while since I shared any recipes and I thought this new stamp set would be perfect for one!
This is my husband’s “best marinara sauce yet” that he’s found, tweaked and changed to make it his own – we all love it, even the kids! I printed it onto Neenah Natural White cardstock and then die cut it with Spellbinders Wonky Rectangles largest die – I love the retro shape and thought it went well with this Cosmo Cricket Social Club paper!
The “Secret Family Recipe” (not so much a secret anymore, eh?!!) border & center was stamped once with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then again with Rubarb Stalk ink. I cut out the center from the red stamped image and adhered it to the black stamped image. The sweet little hearts are colored with Copic R24 & R29 (from JustRite’s Red Quad). The image was layered onto a Spellbinders Pinking Circle die cut from Holly Berry cardstock. A banner shaped “tail” die cut (from Spellbinders Nested Pennants) finishes off the winning “red ribbon” accent.
COPIC TIP: A really quick way to get an easy layered look, like on this banner tail, is to just color the embossed edges of the die cut with a marker (I used Copic R29).
The rest of the recipe was also die cut and attached to the back of the recipe card, on coordinating Cosmo Cricket Social Club paper.
