Today JustRite Stampers is introducing this new Cling stamp set, Signs of Life. It coordinates with Spellbinders Labels 3, Labels 12, Labels 15, Labels 16, and Lacey Squares dies! Any of JustRite’s mini sentiments will fit in the long, narrow frame, most 1-5/8” round JustRite Original sentiments fit in the round frames, and 2” square sentiments fit in the square frames, giving your existing JustRite Original stamps a whole new look!
All the great “sign” type of possibilities with this set are a fabulous given, but I always like finding other, not so obvious, uses for stamp sets! This set is full of wonderful sentiments, too, that you’ll use for all types of everyday things. I used the smaller square frame and sentiment, “Live well, Laugh often, Love much” to make a tag to add to this floral closet sachet ball I made:
I started with a 3-inch styrofoam ball and used long pink pearlized straight pins to add a bunch of Prima flowers to it:
I attached a bit of hand-dyed seam binding (instructions can be found HERE) at the top of the ball, to serve as a hanger. When finished, just lightly spritz the flowers with a scent of your choice and you’re done! What a great way to use up some of those paper flowers in your stash (I know you have some!) AND have a few instant quick gifts!
The tag was made by stamping one of my all time favorite quotes from this set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto an Inchie Arts White Inchie Square (a perfect fit)! I colored the Inchie square with Copic R81 marker and then edged it with Copic 100 Black. I really like the nice dimension and “presence” this gives the tag.
COPIC TIP: The pretty pink frame was stamped with Memento Rose Bud ink onto Copic’s X-Press It Blending Card–- this cardstock is a wonderful “general stamping” super smooth, bright white cardstock, in addition to working well with your Copics! Inks stamp out very nice and clean on it, with no feathering.
I die cut the frame with Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio Two – another perfect fit! On the inside of the pink frame, under the sentiment matboard Inchie square, I placed a 1.25” square piece of white cardstock that I ran through my Xyron sticker maker and then covered with dazzling Glitter Ritz transparent microfine glitter, for a little extra sparkle! (Hopefully you can see that by clicking on the photo for a larger view):
