I have a few favorite family recipes I am finally getting printed onto cards and into my recipe box, so I thought I'd share this one with you today -- it's a favorite of my entire family!
Paper is from October Afternoon's 5 & Dime 8x8 pad. The little accent piece was made with an Inchie Arts White Inchie Square that I stamped with two different Lockhart stamps -- Itty Bitty Leaf Border and Jar of Berries (I thought the berries resembled the oyster crackers!):
I colored the images with these Copic markers:
The Inchie Square was matted with a Spellbinders Labels One die, cut from Memory Box Sapphire cardstock (a very dark blue which is looking black in the photo, I'm afraid). Pretty striped ribbon from Cindy's store is held in place with Copic's X-Press It High Tack Double-Sided tape.
Speaking of Copics -- I also wanted to let you all know that I've updated my Copic Certification Class Page with the newest classes that have opened up. My local Texas residents will be happy to hear there's a new class scheduled for July 16 in Houston and if you are attending CHA this summer in Chicago, there is an Intermediate Certification July 17 and a Standard Certification July 18! You can find applications and more information for these and all the currently available Certification classes HERE.
Here's the cut and paste recipe for you, if you'd like to have it:
Ranch Snack Crackers
Ingredients:
3/4 Cup salad oil
1 pkg (1 oz) Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing mix
1/2 tsp. dill weed
1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
12-16 oz. plain oyster crackers
Instructions: Whisk together the first five ingredients; pour over crackers, stirring to coat. Place crackers in one layer on baking sheets and bake at 275 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 11-12 cups.
I just printed the recipe onto Neenah Natural White cardstock, trimmed it with pinking scissors, and then machine stitched it to the 4" x 6" patterned paper base.
Enjoy!

We make them a lot, too! LOVE LOVE LOVE them! Try them with a butter-flavored oil, too!
I haven't embellished any recipe cards yet--but with all the cute ones I've seen lately (ESPECIALLY this one), I much have to start!
Thanks for sharing it!
