Hi, friends -- sorry it's been a while since my last post . . . I've been spending a little quality Summer time with my kiddos! I did get a chance to play around and update my blog design -- I hope you like the new look! I also added a "For Sale" page with some items to start; I'll be gradually adding to it -- please email me if you are interested in purchasing anything. But I couldn't stay away from coloring too long, so here's something I recently put together:
It's a 2-inch square refrigerator magnet! Aren't these Perfect Berries by Karen Lockhart the sweetest?!! I stamped them onto Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored them with the Copic markers listed below. Next, I die cut the image with Spellbinders Classic Square Nestabilities and covered the berries with Ranger's Glossy Accents. Hopefully you can see all the pretty shine in this close-up:
The narrow berry stems were colored with Melon Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Pen. Next, I colored the edges of an Inchie Arts White Twinchie Square with Copic V15 and mounted the image to the Twinchie Square -- this gives the magnet a lot of great stability! After framing the Twinchie with Memory Box Dill cardstock die cut with Spellbinders Lacey Square Nestabilities, I placed Inchie Magnets on the back:
Now it's all ready to decorate the refrigerator! I think I feel a whole set of new fridge magnets coming on! -Sharon
