We’re starting off the week of inspirational blog hops with one of my favorite stamp sets of this release, Botanical Butterflies -- isn’t it gorgeous?!! This is another set in JustRite’s clear line of stamps and consists of 14 clear stamps, compatible with Spellbinders S4-114 Standard Circles-LG, S4-116 Standard Circles-SM:
I altered an 8” x 5.50” journal cover with this set:
I stamped one of the pretty large circular butterfly images onto Neenah Natural White cardstock with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored it with these Copic markers:
The image was die cut with Spellbinders Floral Doily Motifs and the embossed petals around the outside of the die cut were colored with Copic R81. Copic Pink Atyou Spica Glitter Pen accents the circle around the butterfly image.
I stamped a few of the smaller butterfly images from this set onto the ivory paper with Desert Sand ink. The papers I covered the journal with are My Mind’s Eye Lost & Found-Blush 6x6. The center chocolate striped paper was die cut with Spellbinders Classic Scallop & Classic Triple Scallop Edgeabilities and the pink satin ribbon held in place with Copic’s X-Press It Double-Sided High Tack Tape. The pretty “Give flight to your dreams” sentiment from this stamp set was die cut with Donna Salazar’s Wonderful Wings Grand Shapeabilities by Spellbinders.
