Happy New Year and welcome back to Gina K Designs’ December stamp set release inspiration blog hops! Remember, all of the new December release stamp sets are now available in Gina’s store!
Our first stamp set being featured today is Special Occasion Tags by Tami Mayberry:
I used this great label set on an 8-inch scrap page of my sweet daughters squeezed into their Daddy’s jacket!
(Photo credit: Susan Karlsson from Five Days Later Studio)
I used one of the labels from this set, stamped in black onto gray paper (from the Basic Grey Little Black Dress 6x6 paper pad I used) and then added the “Sister” stamp. I added an “s” to the end of “Sister” and the date with my Copic Black 0.3 Multiliner Pen -- these are great for scrapbook journaling (acid-free and archival)!
The strip behind the label is from Tami’s Label Borders set released last month, stamped in black onto peach paper from the same Little Black Dress pad. The scallops on the Gina K Designs Heavy Base Weight Cardstock-Just Peachy 8-inch base were created with Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Square Nestabilities, just embossed. Machine stitching around the edges and buttons finish this page.
Our next featured set today is You've got Style (One Free With 3) -- so darn cute!
Here’s my clean, simple and quick sample:
This card was so much fun to make -- I think this may need to be my mantra for 2012 … clean, simple and quick! The lingerie was stamped with Tim Holtz's Iced Spruce Distress Ink onto Gina's Bubblegum Pink Heavy Base Weight Cardstock and die cut with Spellbinders Classic Circle Small Nestabilities die. The sentiment was stamped with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
These Gina K design team members also have samples to share today. Make sure you leave a comment on each of the blogs because Gina will choose two random winners from all of the comments who will each receive a grab bag of free stamps (at least 12 stamp sets in each bag)! The more blogs you comment on, the more chances you have to win . . . good luck!
