Today starts the official March release of JustRite’s collection of new cling rubber background stamps and you’ll be seeing daily inspiration from the JustRite design team all this week! Today’s background stamps being featured are Harlequin Script, Vintage Wallpaper, and Scrolled Vine. I used the first two, plus Ticking Stripe (being featured on Thursday) on my Just Keep Calm Cube:
I envision this cube as a sort of Magic 8-Ball “roll of the dice” type decision-making tool, LOL! I might have to rig the cube so it stays on one of these two sides . . . the Go Shopping or Eat A Cupcake are my favorites! :)
This was a 4-inch dollar store gift box I covered with white cardstock stamped with the background stamps in black ink. Each panel was easily attached with Copic’s High Tack Double-Sided Tissue Tape.
To finish off each side of the cube and give it more dimension, without the bulk of extra layers, I used my 100-Black Copic marker to create a hand-drawn black border/mat on each side.
One of the four gorgeous frames in JustRite’s clear Just Keep Calm set was stamped in five different colors of Tim Holtz Distress Inks and then die cut with JustRite’s Custom Nested Medallion Label Dies. Each medallion was popped up on Copic’s High Tack Double-Sided Foam Tape.
You can find more inspiration with this set from these JustRite designers who also have samples with these background stamps today:
