The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop!!! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of deeply etched, pre-cut Gina K. Designs stamps! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!
Our first set being featured today is the huge, fabulous and full of Summer goodness, brand new Hello Sunshine StampTV Kit!
Anyone who knows me knows how much I love my flip flops … I wear them about 9-10 months of the year down here in the warm south! So I was thrilled to see the wonderful flip flop stamps in this set and they inspired me to create a large flip flop shaped card! It measures 5” x 4.25”:
Again, I put my new Silhouette Cameo from Gina’s store to work and cut a flip flop card, then decorated them with two of the great sentiments from this kit.
The flowers from the kit were stamped with the rock-n-roll technique, using Memento Tangelo & Potter’s Clay ink pads on Gina's Ivory cardstock. The flip flops were cut with my favorite colors of Gina's cardstock -- Ocean Mist & Turquoise Sea. They are accented with Star Dust Stickles.
Next up is Birthday Greetings -- what a fabulous well-rounded birthday set, lots of great sentiments!
One of the sentiments from this set, “A birthday is the first day of another 365 day journey around the sun. Enjoy the trip!” reminded me of the book/movie “Around the world in 80 days”, so I went with a hot air balloon theme!
The card measures 5" x 5.50" and fortunately, the Happy Birthday sentiment fit perfectly on the banner! Once again, my favorite Gina cardstock colors were used: Ocean Mist, Turquoise Sea, Innocent Pink and Chocolate. Twine connects the banner to the balloon's basket.
And inside is that wonderful saying:
Our final featured set today is the new One Free With 3 stamp set-Life's a Beach -- Wow, can you believe this set great is FREE with the purchae of 3 other stamp sets?!!
Once again, I couldn’t resist making a shaped card -- this one a sandcastle! I love that I can make any shape into a shaped card, with the flexibility of the Silhouette! The card measures 5” x 5.50”:
I used Gina K Designs Heavy Base Weight Cardstock in Kraft and Soft Sand for the sandcastle and Ivory to stamp the sand bucket and pinwheel. They were colored with the Copic markers listed below. Love that “Build Your Dreams” sentiment! Here’s a view of the card open:

Love how you made the shaped cards--so clever and fun. Don't know that much about the sillouette (sp?) but want to learn more. Your comment about being able to make any shape into a shaped card has piqued my interest. Can't afford a new machine right now, but I'd still like to know more about it.

What phenomenal cards, Sharon! I love that you're having so much fun with your Silhouette. It makes me want one, although I'm such a techno-phobe that I'll probably drag my feet for a long time before I get one.
