Seeds of Friendship

Today is JustRite's last June stamp set release preview, this gorgeous Seeds of Summer clear set: I made a 3D envelope gift box that measures 4.75" x 3.50": This set coordinates with Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles dies. The box is a little over 3/4" deep and was cut with my Silhouette Cameo out of 12" Lily Bee double-sided patterned cardstock. Here's a view of the back: I stamped the beautiful peony flower with Memento's new Toffee Crunch dye ink (it's lighter than Rich Cocoa) onto Neenah Natural White cardstock. COPIC TIP: Stamping in a lighter ink color allows for a little bit more realistic looking flower, without harsh black lines. I colored the seed packet with these Copic markers (colors listed below): The background was airbrushed with Copic YR21. JustRite June 2012 Stamp Release - Day 4

We're leaving Christmas behind for a bit and moving on to Paris, with today's JustRite new background stamp release -- Paris Background! My youngest daughter has decided she wants to go to Paris one day, so I thought altering this dollar store 5-1/2" x 7-1/2" photo album cover would be a nice keepsake album for her, for some special 5x7 photos after she visits! Luckily, the cover had a 2-1/4" recessed window opening that already had the pink frame around it, in just the perfect spot to highlight the crown/fleur de lis part of the stamp! Here's how it started out looking: I stamped the background with black ink onto rustic cream cardstock and highlighted some words with Copic markers. Next, I cut out the 2-1/4" piece, colored it, and placed it in the window opening. The spine was already black, so I just added the fleur de lis die cut to the top to accent it. I custom dyed the seam binding by coloring it a little with Copic RV55 marker and then adding some RV52 Various Ink Refill for some variation in the color. JustRite Papercraft has another new Christmas stamp set debuting today -- look at this beauty -- Christmas Vintage Labels One: I love the fonts in this set! And the label shaped stamp coordinates with JustRite's Custom Vintage Label & Banner dies: Here's my holiday card I made with this set and dies: I stamped the label with Memento's new Toffee Crunch ink onto Memory Box light kraft cardstock and the sentiment was stamped with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink: The rest of the card elements were made with my Silhouette Cameo. The cut-out poinsettia border was accented with yellow pearls. JustRite June 2012 Stamp Release

Yesterday began JustRite Papercraft's June stamp set release and today the design team has a Christmas preview for you. Here are the two pretty new sets: Snowfall Background (cling rubber) . . . and . . . Large Fancy Holiday Sentiments (clear): The cute ornament I used is from a previous cling rubber set, Merry & Bright: The Snowfall background was stamped with red chalk ink onto ivory cardstock and then cut it in my Silhouette Cameo. The beautiful sentiment was black heat embossed and the sentiment strip faux stitched on the ends with Black Atyou Spica Glitter Pen. The ornament was stamped with black ink onto ivory cardstock and colored with Copic R24 marker, then die cut with Spellbinders 2011 Heirloom Ornament dies. The snowflake has big chunky glitter on it (click on the photo for a larger view).
