My favorite holiday tradition is going to Lighting of Santa with my family and my husband's family. It is so much fun to see all the excited kids.

Favorite holiday tradition... as a kid, I loved attending midnight mass with my family. It was such a treat to get to stay up so late and the anticipation of Santa coming was very exciting.

We've had lots of traditions over the years and they've changed over time. My favorite one at the moment is our Black Friday shopping trip. All the girls on my husbands side of the family get together and have lunch and then wander through the stores. We really don;t buy much. It's more for getting ideas of what to buy others for Christmas. There is always lots of chatter about what everyone likes so we get lots of ideas and have a wonderful time catching up with each other since we live all over the country. Thanks for the chance at the class. Sounds like a wonderful experience.

My favorite holiday tradition is actually one that we just began last year. My husband and I went to see the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra's holiday concert at Severance Hall in Cleveland, OH. It's beautifully decorated at Christmas time, and the orchestra and chorus are superb! This year, we are taking both of our sons and their wives. Hoping this is a tradition for many years to come!
Thanks so much for the chance to win a seat in the class!

This class sounds so neat! My favorite tradition after the kids grew up was that I make up surprise packages for the ones over the age of 18. Some have nice gift cards inside, while another might be something useful like a nice pen or flashlight. And I always bake the turkey make delicious yeast rolls and bread dressing. Plus they look forward to eating my pumpkin and apple pies. Then after the meal, we play games. I love getting together with my kids. Thank you for this opportunity to be in this class.

My favorite tradition is going to get the Christmas tree! we go to a farm, take the hay ride to the fields pick the tree. ride the hay wagon back. Then go in the little store. we get hot cocca and hot cider. pick one new decoration for the tree. then after everyone warms up. The kids all get ice cream. its home made and even though its freezing out. All the children get a cone. I have 6 children who are now teens. we still go all attend except when my oldest Son was in Iraq. I love being all together running around outside and laughing.

Favourite tradition was putting up the tree. Always got one that went up the first saturday in December large pail of water, tie downs and all. It stayed up to the 6th of January
My own was doing the huge stockings, and miss that.

My favorite tradition is putting the Christmas tree decorations on. To the sounds of Bing Crosby & Al Martino. There aren't too many 25 & 27 year old boys who would know who they are. LOL. These are played on vinyl too. Would love to. Win a seat in your class

fav tradition - putting up the tree! although the past couple years we've had to modify the tree, and get a mini one and put it up on a table. far away from little hands that can destroy it (my kids are 1 and 3). btw how old will they be, before i can trust them and have a tree on the floor like everyone else???

Our tradition is sponsoring a family during the Salvation Army's Adopt-A-Family program. It makes us all feel more grateful for what we have when we see what others lack. [email protected]

Class looks like fun. Fav tradition - this one the kids made up -after Chritmas Eve early afternoon Mass, we head home and it's all snacks and appetizers for dinner - everyting form the "-os" family, Cheetos, Fritos, Nachos! Then games and fun - all that pent up excitement needs some activity!

Favorite? Seeing many family and friends at our son's Christmas Eve open house, then going to each of our children's homes the next morning to joyfully watch our grandchildren open their gifts. With so many losses of family member over the past few years, Christmas "tradition" is still evolving. Hope I win the seat. I can use all the help I can get, lol.

It would be great to win a place in this class. I am always looking for new ideas (especially for last minute ideas). One of my favourite traditions is a large felt tree that I made as an Advent Calendar. Each day my children hung an ornament I had made out of shrink plastic on it. Now my daughter has the hanging and my grandchildren are hanging the ornaments on it!

My favorite holiday tradition is having my 2 youngest grandchildren (now 15 and 11) come over and completely decorate our tree except for the lights. We have done this for about 9 years now. I never have to rearrange because they do such a good job.

would love to try a class! Our favorite family tradition is setting up and lighting several hundred luminarias for the yard and driveway. They are lit on Christmas Eve and everyone then goes through Albuquerque to see the luminarias all over the city. Since my husband was stationed all over the US in his military career, we took the tradition everywhere we were stationed and it was always so beautiful and felt like home.

My favorite Christmas tradition is our family Christmas get-together usually held the weekend between Christmas and New Years. My husband is the oldest of 10, so there are usually between 45 and 60 people who attend. Everyone brings something and we provide the main dish (ham and/or turkey). Our youngest son (who is now 42) dresses up as Santa and hands out gifts to all the little ones - he's so good at it!! The kids in the family really look forward to seeing Santa every year - even though they've already usually gotten all their gifts at home. We feast on all the food, visit with family and play games late into the evening. Depending on the weather, there's sledding and ice-skating too! It's a fun day and we love getting together with our family! Thanks for the chance to win a spot in this class! Happy holidays!

I know that making a card is quite uneasy, and you should pay more attention to it until it looks beautiful and gorgeous. And I really respect your job, for you've brought such good pleasure for us. And once again, thanks.

What would Christmas be without our church family traveling to several nursing / assisted living homes to sign carols. It is a delight to see their faces light up when we sing one of their favorites. Then back to church for soup, sandwiches, cookies and fellowship. Starts the season off right.
