The Design Team for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop … Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through the blogs listed below, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a few days after the hops.
Today's first featured stamp set is Stately Flowers 6 by Melanie Muenchinger:
I'm always giddy when Melanie releases another in her Stately Flowers series, since flowers are my very favorite thing to color! I made this Valentine card, using the beautiful rose:
The card base uses these cut files from the Silhouette online store: Card-Heart Square Invite by Samantha Walker, cut from Gina K Kraft cardstock, and 4 Scalloped Shapes by Lori Whitlock (scalloped rectangle the rose was stamped on), cut from Gina’s Ivory Layering Weight Cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment and rose with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the rose with these Copic markers: R20, R24, R29, G21, G28, W1.
A pretty bow tied with Gina’s new Cherry wide grosgrain ribbon (LOVE this color) finishes it off.
Our next featured stamp set is Lovely Ladybug by Beth Silaika:
I love all the combinations of different ladybugs Beth gave us AND the elements can be used to create tons of other things, too, as I'm sure you'll see on today's hop! I made this little 4.50" square Love Bug card (for one of my love bug daughters!):
I stamped the sweet lady bug with Gina's FABULOUS new Red Hot ink (you will LOVE the coverage of this ink!) and Jet Black Archival inks onto Beth’s Lovely Ladybug Silhouette Cut File and popped him up on foam tape:
The white background uses the Hearts and Bird Cutout Card by Alaa’ Studio cut file from the Silhouette online store, cut from Gina’s Heavy Base Weight White Cardstock –- it was popped up on foam tape over a 4.25” Red Hot card base.
Our final featured stamp set today is Stamp It Big by Carolyn King:
I'm so BIG excited to see Carolyn illustrating stamps for Gina K again and this set has great sentiments you'll use all the time, along with wonderful accent design elements! Here's a quilt card I made with it, using Gina's new Love Letters 6x6 patterned paper pack:
I used a Quilt Card cut file by Lori Whitlock from the Silhouette online store to cut all the quilt "squares", but you could do them yourself by just punching circles and scoring them with a square, then folding inwards on the score lines.
The sentiment was stamped with Gina's Red Hot and Jet Black Archival inks on Kraft cardstock. The pretty scalloped line Carolyn included in this set was also stamped in black ink to anchor the quilt squares.
