Today’s featured stamp sets are Poster Board Christmas by Becky Oehlers and Lots Of Lines by Beth Silaika. Here’s the rest of the sneak peek project I shared last Thursday:
I altered a wine bottle by spray painting it ivory and then made a chalkboard label by first stamping the pretty leaf wreath with Versamark and heat embossing it with white powder on Black Onyx Color Companions Cardstock.
Next, I stamped the gorgeous sentiment with white chalk ink and die cut it. I finished the label by smudging a little of the white chalk ink around the edges of the label, accented the wreath with red gemstones and finished it with Cherry Red Wide Color Companions Grosgrain Ribbon. I haven’t quite decided what this bottle could be used for . . . maybe to hold a holiday candle or perhaps used as a vase to hold sprigs of winter greenery and berries? Or maybe alter a full bottle of wine, for a nice holiday or hostess gift?
For Beth’s Lots Of Lines set, I made a generic “celebrate” card that would be great for either a birthday, baby or just about any occasion!
The gorgeous sentiment and butterfly were stamped with Ocean Mist Color Companions ink on Ivory Pure Luxury Cardstock. The butterfly cut out is from Beth’s coordinating Lots of Lines Silhouette Cut File, cut with my Silhouette Cameo and accented with rhinestones. Some narrow Ocean Mist Color Companions grosgrain ribbon finishes the card. And I've learned since moving closer to the southern coast of Texas that my standard adhesive doesn't quite hold ribbon that well in the higher humidity, so you'll see me using staples a little more frequently because of that!
Using the same quick layout, I duplicated the above card in a smaller, 4.50-inch square version with a love theme:
I adore the fonts in these sentiments! This Love You is embossed with silver tinsel embossing powder {love}! The heart is stamped with Red Hot Color Companions ink -- again, on the coordinating Silhouette cut-out, and accented with rhinestones.
Be sure to check out all the amazing designs and inspiration from these Gina K designers participating in today’s hop and leave comments on all of them, for your best chance at winning!
