You will never need another thank you stamp set again ... look at all the fantastic fonts and thanks expressions in this set, along with beautiful accents! I arranged all of the thanks sentiments from this set (which were only about half of the total stamps in this set!) on an acrylic block (use a grid one, such as this to make sure everything is straight) and stamped them with Gina's Black Onyx ink onto Ivory Heavy Base Weight Cardstock, to create a posterboard effect (stamp it in white on black and you'll have a chalkboard effect!). Today's featured stamp sets are Stampers Favorites by Melanie Muenchinger -- what a great, year-round set that contains exactly the name of the set, every favorite image and sentiment stampers love and use most frequently! When I first saw this set I knew I wanted to color this sweet hummer: Isn't he beautiful?!! I stamped him on watercolor paper with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored him with these Copic markers: For the background, I used Copic BG0000 Various Ink Refill to "watercolor" the sky, using a water reservoir brush filled with Copic Blender Solution while the paper was still in the die, so I would be left with a white edge around... Here's my card: To make the wreath, I die cut a 3-inch circle from cardstock, then used the template to lightly "score" around the shape with my bone folder on the card front. This will make a slight indentation in the card base -- enough to act as a guide to stamp the sprig with Grass Green ink and make it into a wreath! The berries were made with a dot from Beth's new Lots of Thanks stamp set we will debut on Wednesday, stamped with Red Hot ink.
