The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop … Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.
Today's first featured stamp set is Lots of Thanks by Beth Silaika. You will never need another thank you stamp set again ... look at all the fantastic fonts and thanks expressions in this set, along with beautiful accents!
I arranged all of the thanks sentiments from this set (which were only about half of the total stamps in this set!) on an acrylic block (use a grid one, such as this to make sure everything is straight) and stamped them with Gina's Black Onyx ink onto Ivory Heavy Base Weight Cardstock, to create a posterboard effect (stamp it in white on black and you'll have a chalkboard effect!). Then I stamped the accent row of dots with Passionate Pink ink and matted the sentiment piece with coordinating Passionate Pink cardstock that was die cut with a postage die. The piece is popped up with Copic Foam Tape on a Black Onyx panel tied with ivory grosgrain ribbon and layered onto an ivory card base.
Our final featured stamp set for the December release is Celebration Diva by Debbie Corbari. I made a 5.50" framed artwork piece for my desk, as a great reminder (I love this quote!):
Since Diva is celebrating for the new year, I decided to color her in the Pantone 2014 color of the year, Radiant Orchid (or as close as I think it is, from electronic media!) with Copic RV66-Raspberry! I sure wish I could have a dress this pretty for myself, just by coloring one, LOL!
I stamped Diva with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with these Copic Sketch markers:
Her jewelry and shoes were glittered with Pink Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Pen and Gold glitter pen gives her champagne some sparkly bubbles (click on the photo for a closer view)!
While the cardstock was still in the beaded oval die, I airbrushed RV63 around the beaded edges.

See how I remember that?!) and I cannot tell you how much it means to me that you FRAMED her to put on your desk! Dang girl! She looks beautiful and so trendy in her pantone 2014 colored dress! And I love her glittery shoes and champagne! You have knocked my socks off Sharon! <3
