Welcome back to the My Favorite Things June Release Countdown – just 4 days left until the new products are available on June 10! Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog to see today’s full product reveals AND enter for your chance to win a $75 gift voucher on each of the 7 countdown day blog posts!
My sample today uses the new TRANSFORM-ables Smile Die-namics (such a fun concept!) and the new Smile stamp set you’ll see the full reveal of tomorrow! I made a photo card to send to Grandma:
So easy, quick, and cute! If only the photo printing and battling my computer had been as quick as the rest of the card, LOL! The photo opening is 3” x 3”, so it’s perfect for Instagram or any square format photo – just resize it to 3x3 (or trim) and print! (Note: My photo was a closeup and really not sized very well to fit in the frame -- that's why you are seeing more white space below the "smile" word. Normally, your photo would probably fill in the space below the smile. :)
I used this week's MFT Wednesday Stamp Club sketch #179 as a starting point for the layout of this card -- I just modified the large round element to be square. You have until Tue, June 10 to enter for this week's prize!
I die cut the frame from Berrylicious cardstock, placed it over my photo and trimmed the photo to fit. After adhering the two together, I popped it up on foam tape over the Banana Split Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX die cut.
The Primitive White layer was die cut with the stitched panel from Blueprints 13 (or Blueprints 15) and adhered to a Berryicious card base. The front was finished off with a vellum Gerbera Daisy (help, I can’t stop using this great little flower Die-namics!).
On the inside I stamped one of the great sentiments (“you can never have too much happy” – love it!) from the new Smile stamp set in Blu Raspberry Hybrid ink, on a Primitive White Pierced Fishtail Flag:
The sentiment flag is accented with another Banana Split Gerbera Daisy. And just like that, this sweet card is ready to send off to Grandma . . . which I’m sure will definitely make her smile! :)
TIP: If photo cards aren't your thing, you could always use this same concept/layout to add to a scrapbook page.
All the new products will be available for purchase on June 10th at 10pm Eastern in the MFT Boutique. During this 7-day countdown you can enter to win some HUGE prizes over on the MFT blog . . . where you will also find links to the other design team members that are sharing samples using today’s featured products!
Thanks so much for stopping by … I’ll be back late Sunday night with more June release inspiration!
Links to new release products will be in effect at time of release, June 10th at 10pm EST.

Very cool die. And if you didn't want the frame, the word could just be snipped away.
