Welcome to the My Favorite Things June Release Rewind - Day 2! I hope to inspire you with more ideas for those new June goodies you've purchased and are patiently waiting to be delivered or to help you finish up your shopping, if you are still on the fence about anything! For me, it’s a chance to (catch up on my scrapbooking--yay!) and use some of the new products that I may not have had the chance to show you yet that are available right HERE, right NOW in the MFT Boutique! Direct links to all products used on my project today can be found at the bottom of this post.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary last month, so this was a milestone I definitely wanted to get onto paper! When I first saw the awesome new Bride & Groom Die-namics, I knew they would be perfect for this page! For the layout of my page, I used the current new MFTSCRAP15 Sketch you can find here.
I die cut the groom & bride from Black Licorice and Primitive White cardstock. The bride’s dress was embellished with the beautiful swirl from this set, along with the man’s bow-tie as an accent … made out of white and glittered with MFT’s Glitter Glaze, they make her dress extra feminine & special! The pretty new Romantic Script Background was stamped with Whip Cream Pigment ink on the full sheet of 8.50 x 11 Steel Grey cardstock. I like to use the Whip Cream pigment ink vs. Sweet Tooth (brighter white), when I want a softer look.
The Sno Cone flag at the top was cut with my favorite new Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX (are you tired of seeing me use these yet?!!) and the “then” word cut from silver metallic cardstock with Little Lowercase Letters Die-namics. The “1994” and “2014” years were stamped with Laina’s Journal It-Calendar Basics in Steel Blue Hybrid ink on Sno Cone cardstock that was cut with the new Free with $60 File Folder Edges Die-namics.
The Grout Gray cardstock piece across the center of the page was a leftover piece from last month’s Mom scrap page, stenciled with the Petal Pattern stencil, direct-to-paper with Versamark Dazzle Frost ink. A row of holes was die cut with a piece from Blueprints 14. The largest flourish (LOVE!) Ampersand was die cut with Sno Cone and silver metallic cardstocks, layered together offset and popped up on foam tape.
The “Now” word is from the new Always & Forever stamp set, heat embossed with silver detail powder.
The Peek-A-Boo Heart Frame was die cut from Primitive White cardstock, die cut with Stitched CircleSTAX, embossed with the Max Alphabet “20” numbers in silver, then stitched with white embroidery floss that I hand-dyed with MFT’s Sno Cone Hybrid ink by placing the floss directly on the ink pad and using a dauber to dab color onto it and hold it down while pulling the floss between the two – I love how it turned out!
The journaling card was created by die cutting Primitive White cardstock with the Vertical Greetings II frame and then stamping it with the new Notebook Paper Background stamp in Berrylicious Hybrid ink. The journaling was done with a Silver Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Pen.
The striped piece at the bottom was another leftover piece from last month’s Mom scrap page – Steel Grey cardstock stamped with the Pinstripe Background in Whip Cream Pigment Ink. The Always & Forever words were silver heat embossed on it and the smallest more graphic Sno Cone cardstock Ampersand placed between the words.
Here's a slightly different angled view, which hopefully shows some of the silver embossed details better that were reflecting the light in the first photo above:
That’s it for me today … Head on over to the MFT Blog for a complete list of the other designers who also have projects to share on today’s Release Rewind. I hope you have a fabulous weekend and THANK YOU again for your very sweet comments over the past week of release projects and posts – I always love hearing from you!
