Honoring the USA's "birthday" of independence today, I used something I'm REALLY excited about -- MFT's new Tag Builder Blueprints 1 -- to create my July calendar 6-inch page! You should have heard the squeal of delight when I learned about these new Blueprints, especially since I adore tags! I combined it with two of this month's new background stamps, Diagonal Stripes and Confetti ... and sneaked in a little preview of tomorrow's featured sweet new Pure Innocence Happy Banner stamp set and coordinating Die-namics:
The sweet Happy Banner PI girl was stamped on her coordinating Die-namics, cut from X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers (colors listed below in supplies):
The fabulous new Tag Builder Blueprints 1 tag was cut from Nightshift Blue cardstock, stamped with the new Confetti Background and Sweet Tooth Pigment ink. The "Birthday" word (from Celebrate You stamp set) was stamped with Wild Cherry Premium Dye ink onto the great little diagonal banner in the Tag Builder Die-namics set. The USA letters are from Negative Dot Alphabet Die-namics (insides of the circles in the upper right of the page) and the stars are also included in the Tag Builder Die-namics set.
The Journal It-Calendar Basics calendar was stamped in Nightshift Blue Hybrid and Wild Cherry Premium Dye inks. The stitched circle accent was made with the fantastic dotted circle die included in the Tag Builder Blueprints 1 and the little red arrow is also included in this Die-namics set. See what I mean -- isn't this Tag Builder set amazing? And I've only used about half of the dies from the set!

Next, I have a (hard to photograph!) vellum balloon window card which uses the fabulous new Balloon STAX Die-namics (another squeal of delight!). I hope you can get the gist of it lying closed:
I also used the fantastic July Color Pallete Challenge for this card. I die cut the largest Balloon die from Orange Fizz cardstock which was stamped with the new Happy Birthday Background, in Tangy Orange Premium Dye ink. This panel was adhered to a Translucent Vellum card and more of my colored Translucent Vellum (<--Tutorial link) was die cut with other sizes of the Balloon STAX, tied with baker's twine and adhered to the front of the card.
Inside I placed another large Balloon, die cut from Primitive White cardstock and heat embossed with another pretty sentiment from the Celebrate You stamp set:
I love the look of the layered colored vellum balloons ... so much fun!
