The time has come . . . Welcome to the October New Product Launch from My Favorite Things! This is the design team's chance to highlight and share more of the new release products that are NOW AVAILABLE for purchase at the MFT Store! Be sure to leave a comment here on my blog post, to be entered for your chance at winning a $100 gift voucher (see last paragraph below for details)!
Tonight I'm focusing on MFT's sweet new Pure Innocence Christmas Banner stamp set and coordinating Christmas Banner Die-namics and have three cards to share!
(All bold products are linked at the end of this post):
Does it get any cuter than this?!! Here's a closer look at each card . . .
First up is one of my favorite color combos: Pink Lemonade, Paver Red and gold accents:
Each of my Christmas Banner girls were stamped with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink onto their coordinating Christmas Banner Die-namics die cut from Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.
NOTE: I finished each of the banners three different ways, so you could get an idea of what you might like best!
This one was colored with these Copic Sketch markers, and the banner colored with the lightest R32 marker:
The card base and poinsettia are Paver Red cardstock. The Primitive White background panel was stamped with the new Fine Chevron Background in Versamark and gold heat embossed (LOVE!). The Insert It-InstaFrame was cut from Pink Lemonade cardstock and the pretty Merry Messages sentiments also gold heat embossed on it:
Inside, another Merry Message was stamped with gold pigment ink and a piece of the gold embossed Fine Chevron from the front panel was added:
Next, I have a traditional red and green Christmas card. (I will have a tutorial in the next few days on how to stamp the plaid!):
Don't you LOVE that fantastic new Merry Die-namics? I sure do -- it makes a beauitful bold statement!! It was die cut from a Wild Cherry cardstock panel and attached to a Primitive White card base.
This Christmas Banner was left white (accented with Clear Wink of Stella glitter marker) and the girl colored with these Copics:
She was popped up on a Gumdrop Green cardstock Stitched Oval STAX with foam tape. The plaid background was made with the Plaid Background Builder stamp set these Premium Dye Inks: Brick Red, Wild Cherry, Gumdrop and Factory Green (I started with some of this month's Color Palette Challenge colors and then deviated, adding a brighter red and green!). Blueprints 18 was used to cut the plaid panel and I used the new MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch #198 for my layout:
Inside, another piece of the plaid cardstock was added, along with one of the sentiments from the Christmas Banner stamp set, stamped in Gumdrop Premium Dye Ink:
Finally, I couldn't resist making another Snow Globe -- this one is a shaped top-folded card:
I used cold snowy blue Copics to color this girl (her cheeks are extra-rosy since she's inside a snow globe, LOL!), and her banner was colored with Copic Sky Blue Atyou Spica Glitter Pen:
The girl was popped up on foam tape over the globe background of Sno Cone cardstock stamped with the new Snowfall Background and white heat embossed. The snow globe base is Natural cardstock. The edges were sponged with Kraft Premium Dye Ink:
Inside you can see how the card was constructed out of a Smooth White folded circle cardstock base and stamped with another of the Christmas Banner stamp set sentiments, in Nightshift Blue Premium Dye Ink:
Whew, thanks for sticking with me through all of those details! And thanks so much for joining me the past week and for your very kind comments -- they always make my week! I'll be back on Friday for our MFT September Release Rewind -- I hope you'll join me for some more new release project ideas then! And don't forget about this tid-bit:
