My project today uses a few of this release's products I didn't have a chance to use yet -- Laina Lamb's absolutely adorable All-Star High Top Die-namics and coordinating stamp set, Be Original, along with the new Arrows Abound stencil and this month's Free with $60 Die-namics, Stitched Scallop Edges:
My silly girls were trying their best to not give me a good photo op -- one trying NOT to smile and the other sticking her tongue out at me ... until they both cracked up! They really are the best of friends (thank goodness!), so these stamp set sentiments were perfect on a page about them.
I used the Arrows Abound stencil with pearlescent embossing paste on Pink Lemonade cardstock for the top half of the page -- it's gorgeous in person but a little difficult to get a good photo. Here's another view:
That fabulous sentiment was pieced together -- the "You're my favorite" originally had "Dude" at the end, but I stamped it in Paver Red Premium Dye ink, omitting the Dude. :) Soul-Sister was stamped in Steel Grey Dye ink.
Now how about that WAY TOO CUTE All-Star High Top I'm in love with ... isn't it the cutest thing ever?!! I love all the stitch details! I cut it out of Pink Lemonade cardstock and decked it out with Aggie, umm ... I mean Paver Red cardstock die cut accents! Another great sentiment from the Be Original stamp set was stamped in Paver Red Dye ink onto Primitive White Pierced Fishtale Flag STAX.
The cute star accents are also from the All-Star High Top die set ... they make perfect little accents! I finished the page with a Paver Red Stitched Scallop Edges die cut across the center of the page, to give it a little more feminine flare (if the pink isn't enough to do that!):
Thanks so much for joining me this last week ... I hope you've enjoyed the My Favorite Things November release!
Head on over to the MFT Blog for a complete list of the other designers who also have projects to share on today’s Release Rewind. I hope you have a fabulous weekend and THANK YOU again for your very sweet comments over the past week of release projects and posts – I always love hearing from you!
