Tonight I'm focusing on MFT's fun new Heart Puzzle Die-namics and Friend Die-namics (all bold products are linked below in the supply section)!
My first project is a 5-inch square card using the Friend Die-namics. The pretty background is the gorgeous Damask Background stamped with Tropical Teal Pigment ink onto Blu Raspberry cardstock, then die cut with the stitched square from Blueprints 14:
The Friend Die-namics was cut from Tropical Teal cardstock, then the row of dots from BP14 cut into the top and the scalloped piece (BP14) added to the bottom. The friend piece is popped up on Copic X-Press It Foam Tape and topped with a strip of silver glitter paper. The flower (also from BP14) was cut from Berrylicious carstock and accented with a Berrylicious Button and silver thread:
Inside I stamped one of the two-part sentiments from Smitten with You that can definitely relate to a good friend! A few more pieces of the Tropical Teal Damask paper I created was die cut with the scalloped edge and leaf from Blueprints 14:
My next card uses the FUN Heart Puzzle Die-namics and showcases inlaid die-cutting, in which you literally put the die cut pieces back together inside of each other!
Using my favorite Blueprints 20 again as foundation, the bottom scalloped layer is the pretty new Ripe Raspberry cardstock. The Heart Puzzle was cut from Smooth White cardstock and again from Red Hot cardstock. (My apologies for the poor lighting in the photo -- it doesn't seem to be picking up the pretty embossed puzzle pieces on this darker red cardstock). The Red Hot heart was laid back into the white piece, then cut with the I Love You Straight To My Heart Die-namics.
Next, all the colored die cut pieces were put back together into the white piece and an additional silver glitter paper I Love You arrow was laid in place. The "Pieces" sentiment is from Smitten with You and was stamped with Red Hot Premium Dye ink. The number 2 is from the Emmitt Numbers Die-namics, cut from Ripe Raspberry cardstock and glued on top of the card.
Finally, my last card reminds me of a box of of Sweethearts candy hearts! It also uses the Heart Puzzle Die-namics, but in softer tones of pretty Wild Wisteria and Bubblegum. The embossed puzzle pieces show up really well on the silver metallic cardstock I used:
The heart background was made by painting BV02 and R20 Copic Various Ink Refills (using a water reservoir brush filled with Copic Colorless Blender Solution) through the Background Hearts stencil onto Primitive White cardstock, then splattering it with silver shimmer mist:
The Heart Puzzle was popped up on Copic X-Press It Foam Tape. The You & Me Straight To My Heart Die-namics was cut out of the background and Bubblegum cardstock, then inlaid back into the background which is also popped up on foam tape.
