Hello, Crafters! After a little bit of a break Ellen Hutson's United We Flourish campaign is back, bringing you a beautiful stitching stamp and coordinating die set by Waffle Flower called Stitched Together:
And here are some projects I created with it:
This clear stamp set is a 5-step layering set that creates this beautiful world globe, filled with flowers and leaves as the land! You can download this stamping guide to assist you HERE:
Your stamp guide or MISTI will be of great assistance for this set (especially when stamping multiple projects) but since it is clear, you can probably eyeball it just as easily. Here are some of my step-out photos, using my MISTI. I tried stamping the globe stand both ways, first and last, and ended up preferring stamping it last -- I felt it was easier to make sure the stand fit around the already-stamped globe.
TIP: Either way, make sure the left side and bottom of the stand are lined up straight on your stamp guide or acrylic block. Here's the stand stamped last. I used Memento Summer Sky, Angel Pink (which I ended up changing to Rose Bud for my projects below), Bamboo Leaves, and Gray Flannel:
And here's the stand stamped first:
My first card uses a GORGEOUS new Oyster Gray 100 Lb. cardstock from Ellen Hutson as the background:
I die cut the gray background with Blueprints 27 stitched and scalloped panel die. The die cut stitched world was popped up with foam tape, as was the pretty "Let the flowers bloom" sentiment. The "Love is all around" sentiment was colored with Memento markers, as was the twine:
My next card has the globe stamped onto muslin fabric! I simply wrapped the muslin around a piece of cardstock, and stamped it the same way I did the card above (in fact, I stamped both projects at the same time, in different colors, leaving each of the layers of stamps on my MISTI)!
The sentiment on this card was also colored with Memento markers. The little stitched heart was stamped onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and glued onto the muslin. I finished the card by matting the fabric layer with Solar White cardstock, then adhering it with foam tape to a Wonky Stitches die cut Pale Rose layer, then putting everything onto a Candy Hearts card base:

Thank you for the tips and download guide. I like both of your cards but love the grey one the best. I love that little scallop on the edge to soften the look.

Lovely cards! I absolutely love that you stamped this sweet cross stitched design on muslin, so clever and absolutely perfect to highlight this stamp.

the cards are wonderful.
I love the different color combinations.
So fun to get a "stitched" card without
all the time spend stitching.
thanks for sharing.
