My Favorite Things October Release Rewind

Hello and welcome to My Favorite Things October Release Rewind! The design team hopes to inspire you with more ideas for those new October products you've purchased and are patiently waiting on to be delivered, or to help you finish up your shopping if you are still on the fence about anything! My first project today is a wintery, cold snowflake card! The blue "watercolor" background was created with Copic Various Ink Refills. The details on how to create it are in this blog post. I thought it looked like a cold blizzard, so I glittered up the beautiful smallest Pierced Snowflake Die-namics and popped it up on foam tape. The Merry word is from the new Free with $60 Christmas Tree Cutout Die-namics -- it was die cut out of the Copic background and backed with Smooth White cardstock. The blue Copic background was die cut with my favorite large stitched panel from Blueprints 13 and the card base is Berrylicous Heavyweight Cardstock. Next, I have a 5" x 7" framed artwork piece: The Primitive White background was embossed with the Snowflake Fusion Cover-up Die-namics. Stitched Snow Drifts were added to the bottom. Amazing Paper Grace Kit Club 4-December

Becca Feeken's Amazing Paper Grace Kit Club being released next month is another amazing kit! These are the stamps and dies you'll receive: What Defines Us clear stamp set and Set of 3 Filigree Bracket and Label Dies: You can see all the projects Becca created for this kit and all the materials you'll receive in the kit here or over at the JustRite blog. Here's the project I created -- a bookmark or tag: To create the bookmark, I placed the largest die from the kit onto heavy base weight ivory cardstock so I could see where to position and stamp all the elements, with Memento Rich Cocoa & Rose Bud inks. Then I colored the roses using these Copic markers: Then die cut the bookmark and while the cardstock was still in the die, I used YR31 to airbrush the background. The smallest die in this set made a perfect "hanger" for the ribbons!
