Desktop Large Photo Memory Cube & Giveaway Winner

Hello -- With school starting back today, it seems like the first of the year again, doesn't it?! It was also back to work for me, so I apologize for the delay in announcing the winner of my Season's Givings giveaway ... more on that below. First, I wanted to let you know I've done a little updating to my blog this year and added icons of all the social networks you can easily follow me/my blog on, if you wish. They are the little blue buttons located in my right sidebar under my photo, over there ==>. Just click on one of them to find/follow me there! I also wanted to let you know that I updated one of my studio photos in the Copic in the Craftroom / My Studio Tour post directly below this post. Valentine Tag & Season's Givings Winner!

Before I announce the winner of my Season's Givings prize giveaway, I wanted to share this brand new sweet Lockhart Stamp Company Ribbon Snippets Heart (#7018) tag I made: I stamped the heart onto Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored it with markers from the Copic 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Sketch Set: Once again, the smaller nibs on these Sketch markers made it easy to color the smaller details of this image. I also colored a piece of white lace trim with the BV13 marker, so it would match the image. The heart was fussy cut and then mounted with Copic Foam Tape to a red tag left over from my 2012 Advent Calendar project (it measures 2.75" x 4.25" and was cut with a free tag file that came with my Silhouette Cameo). I attached a tiny 7 Gypsies metal key to the heart (I colored it black with Copic 100 marker), also using the Copic Foam Tape -- I love that I can cut just the size I need of this tape, to fit my project perfectly! Color Cubbies Are Back!

I always get asked about how I store my Copic markers and if you've visited my Copic FAQ page or have seen my studio tour, you'll see the same photo as above. I LOVE those cubbies! Each cubbie compartment bottom is slanted toward the back of the cubbie (so your markers don't slip forward or fall out!) and can hold 12 Various Ink Refills or about 30 Sketch markers. Each cubbie tower has five compartments. The site shut down for a while, but good news for me and anyone still looking for the perfect marker storage solution -- They are BACK and are still made in the USA! You can order again. And I am super happy to tell you that one lucky reader of mine will be able to WIN TWO of these cubbies (4 are featured above). How cool is that?!!
