Today’s first featured stamp set today is Wicked by Beth Silaika: I wanted to make a subway art style framed home décor piece and Beth’s coordinating Wicked Studio Cut File made this project a breeze! I just cut all the images with Gina’s Heavy Base Weight White Cardstock (with a blade setting of 10), and then placed them on a 5”x7” piece of white cardstock and moved them around until I was pleased with the layout. Wrapped in Love

Welcome to another day of JustRite’s holiday stamp set debuts in July! Today’s new stamp sets are Christmas Miracle Ornaments: And Christmas Holly Background Stamp: I especially liked the “Wrapped in Love” sentiment in the Christmas Miracle Ornaments set, so I decided to make a holiday gift box: This darling snowflake 5-inch hexagon box is yet another Silhouette Studio file, cut with my new Cameo (can you tell I’m loving it?!!), with 3D snowflake pop-ups! The beautiful JustRite ornament was stamped with Cranberry ink and then colored with R81 and BG53 Copic markers. The 3D pop-up snowflake is glittery (maybe you can see it by clicking on the photo for a larger view), but I’m afraid my camera just didn’t catch it very well. The light blue seam binding from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store has a little Copic BG53 Various Ink Refill added to it to make it match the Broken China Distress Ink stamped “Wrapped in Love” sentiment. Wishing You Joy

Today begins JustRite Papercraft’s July stamp set release and a few more 2012 holiday additions, starting with Noel Christmas Ornaments: I hadn’t made a tag in a while (and you know how much I love tags!) so here’s the first of my stash for this Christmas -- it measures 6" x 4": The tag and holly/berries were cut using my Silhouette Cameo (the holly leaves are 3D and are accented with Copic YG95 faux stitching) and the sweet reindeer is a Spellbinders die (nose colored with Copic R85). The pretty JustRite ornament was stamped with Cranberry ink onto Innocent Pink cardstock, the sentiment stamped with Bamboo Leaves ink, and then hand-trimmed. This ornament stamp coordinates with Spellbinders new 2012 Heirloom Ornament dies that will be released next week at CHA! Other ornaments in this set coordinate with two previous years of Spellbinders ornament dies, too! The ornament topper/hanger was stamped with Gray Flannel ink onto ivory cardstock and hand cut. The Spellbinders Classic Triple Scallop Edgeabilities border was machine zig-zag stitched onto the tag. Seeds of Friendship

Today is JustRite's last June stamp set release preview, this gorgeous Seeds of Summer clear set: I made a 3D envelope gift box that measures 4.75" x 3.50": This set coordinates with Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles dies. The box is a little over 3/4" deep and was cut with my Silhouette Cameo out of 12" Lily Bee double-sided patterned cardstock. Here's a view of the back: I stamped the beautiful peony flower with Memento's new Toffee Crunch dye ink (it's lighter than Rich Cocoa) onto Neenah Natural White cardstock. COPIC TIP: Stamping in a lighter ink color allows for a little bit more realistic looking flower, without harsh black lines. I colored the seed packet with these Copic markers (colors listed below): The background was airbrushed with Copic YR21. JustRite June 2012 Stamp Release

Yesterday began JustRite Papercraft's June stamp set release and today the design team has a Christmas preview for you. Here are the two pretty new sets: Snowfall Background (cling rubber) . . . and . . . Large Fancy Holiday Sentiments (clear): The cute ornament I used is from a previous cling rubber set, Merry & Bright: The Snowfall background was stamped with red chalk ink onto ivory cardstock and then cut it in my Silhouette Cameo. The beautiful sentiment was black heat embossed and the sentiment strip faux stitched on the ends with Black Atyou Spica Glitter Pen. The ornament was stamped with black ink onto ivory cardstock and colored with Copic R24 marker, then die cut with Spellbinders 2011 Heirloom Ornament dies. The snowflake has big chunky glitter on it (click on the photo for a larger view).
