JustRite CHA/January Release - Day 3

Today's JustRite Papercraft stamp set being released is Special Gifts Labels Twenty Nine: Which coordinates with Spellbinders brand new Labels Twenty-Nine die set (JustRite is taking pre-orders for this die set, which will ship approximately mid-February): I've been wanting to try the chalkboard technique and thought this set worked out beautifully for it . . . here's my card: I started by die cutting black cardstock and then stamped the images with Versamark and white heat embossed them. Then I lightly rubbed white chalk ink onto the die cut's embossed edges and a few other smudges here and there. Then I used a white pencil to draw the lines around the flourish at the bottom and the diagonal accent lines. The stamped oval image was die cut with Spellbinders Classic Oval die and popped up on Copic Foam Tape to give it more dimension and interest. JustRite CHA/January Release - Day 2

Hello and a happy Sunday to you all! JustRite Papercraft has started showcasing their January/CHA stamp release and today's introduction is Live, Love Laugh Vintage Labels Two: It coordinates with JustRite's Custom Vintage Label Two dies: I found this awesome free vintage download paper that I thought would work well this set. Here's my card: Going with the colors in the vintage paper, I stamped the pretty filigree label with Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink and the sentiment with Memento Sweet Plum. After die cutting the label with JustRite's custom matching die, I outlined the interior of the frame with Copic E42 and colored some of the scroll work with it, too. Latte pearls accent the frame. The frame was sponged with Memento Toffee Crunch ink and popped up on Copic Foam Tape. The vintage paper was trimmed to fit the red card base, which was die cut with Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles. JustRite December 2012 Release-Day 4

Welcome to the last day of JustRite's December release inspiration blog hops! Today I have a tag to share with you: It uses this pretty new JustRite Cling Vintage Pearl Labels, which coordinates with JustRite's Custom Vintage Label & Banner Dies: And another gorgeous new background stamp, Victorian Tile. I stamped the background with Distress Embossing Ink onto gray cardstock and embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I started coloring the embossed circles with Copic R21 and RV25 for a fun, different look: Yes, can do this! I like to use the less-used chisel end of my markers for this type of project, just in case some of the embossing powder might clog the nib. But generally, if you color quickly and don't linger, then wipe the tip off by scribbling on scratch paper, you shouldn't have a problem. But if you do, remember your Copic nibs/tips are replaceable! I chose my colors by matching the R21 marker with the Gina K Innocent Pink cardstock I used to mat the colored background. JustRite December 2012 Release-Day 2

Today's December release JustRite stamps being featured are this fabulous Elegant Damask cling background: And this Hugs & Kisses Sentiments clear set: This sentiment set will get you through all the upcoming winter holidays, straight through to Mother's Day and beyond! And there are plenty of general all-purpose occasion sentiments as well. I stamped the background with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Neenah Natural White cardstock and then colored it with these Copic markers: The Mother's Day sentiment was also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and while the cardstock was still in the die, I airbrushed it with the BG45 Copic marker. The pretty decorative circle heart border was stamped with Memento Rose Bud ink, circle die cut, and then backed with a black die cut Spellbinders Picot Circles: Each of the sentiment circle layers were popped up on Copic Foam Tape. The Mother's Day sentiment circle and rose in the bow have Star Dust Stickles on them -- you can probably see it better by clicking on the photo for a larger view. JustRite December 2012 Release

Good morning! Today marks the start of JustRite's December release inspiration blog hops. We're starting the week off with some sweet Valentines and I made this cute little 4.50" shaped card for you: It was made with part of this pretty new Cling Cupid Background stamp: I inked the stamp with Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink and stamped it onto Neenah Natural White cardstock, then colored it with Copic R22 (stripes) and R83 (flowers): I die cut the background with Spellbinders (retired) largest Nested Heart die -- I love the little "stem" at the top! Then I cut apart a white heart paper doily and adhered it to the back of the die cut heart. Next, I just lightly traced around the doily shape onto doubled red cardstock and cut around the shape, leaving the folded top uncut. The sentiments are from another new JustRite Clear stamp set, Antique Valentine Tags One (you'll see more with this new set on Thursday's inspiration hop). I stamped the sentiments with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Neenah Natural White cardstock and then die cut them with JustRite's Custom Dies - Vintage Label & Banner Dies (banner) and Antique Tags One Dies (Be Mine). Amazing Paper Grace Kit Club 4-December

Becca Feeken's Amazing Paper Grace Kit Club being released next month is another amazing kit! These are the stamps and dies you'll receive: What Defines Us clear stamp set and Set of 3 Filigree Bracket and Label Dies: You can see all the projects Becca created for this kit and all the materials you'll receive in the kit here or over at the JustRite blog. Here's the project I created -- a bookmark or tag: To create the bookmark, I placed the largest die from the kit onto heavy base weight ivory cardstock so I could see where to position and stamp all the elements, with Memento Rich Cocoa & Rose Bud inks. Then I colored the roses using these Copic markers: Then die cut the bookmark and while the cardstock was still in the die, I used YR31 to airbrush the background. The smallest die in this set made a perfect "hanger" for the ribbons! Postcard Birthday Wishes

Hello, friends! Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made with JustRite Papercraft's beautiful new November stamp release Wings of Love cling background: Isn't that a gorgeous stamp? It was tons of fun to color, too! Here are the Copic markers I used to color it, after stamping it with Memento Rich Cocoa ink onto Neenah Natural White cardstock: I also used JustRite's Grand Sentiments to custom create the greeting on the postcard. I also cut out the postcard and popped it up on foam tape, to give it dimension: The pretty butterfly is also from the Grand Sentiments stamp set. It was stamped with Memento Rubarb Stalk and colored with Copic R20 and outlined with Copic Chocolate Atyou Spica Glitter Pen. Spellbinders' Wonderful Wings dies cut it out perfectly! The background was machine zig-zag stitched to a card base of Gina K's Turquoise Sea cardstock. JustRite Papercraft-Petaloo Holiday Inspiration Week!

This week JustRite Papercraft is very excited to be partnering with Petaloo International to bring you a week of Christmas inspiration using Petaloo's new Flora Doodle flowers and JustRite Christmas stamps! Each day you can visit the JustRite blog and the Petaloo blog to see what each design team has created. Today, I used Petaloo's White Forget Me Nots: to trim my Christmas Peace Angel: The pattern for the angel can be found at the Martha Stewart website. She could decorate your holiday table or could also be used as a name card. I fancied her up a bit, by making her with Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles One (all four graduated sizes of dies in the set, ranging from 6 to 8 inches) to die cut the circles and create her pretty layered dress, instead of a paper plate as the original instructions indicate. JustRite October 2012 Release-Day 3

Welcome to our final day of JustRite Papercraft's October stamp set release. Today we have a beautiful Cling Embroidered Background Stamp to show you: Along with Cling Friends Antique Labels One: After reorganizing and redecorating my studio/craft space recently, I thought this 7" x 9" photo frame could use some updating to my new color scheme of black and raspberry (and I wanted to keep one of my favorite photos of me and my girls from about 6 years ago!): So I stamped this beautiful background a few times, to cover an 8.50" x 11" piece of cream cardstock, and black embossed it. Then I decoupaged it to the front of the MDF frame (Michaels). Next, I stamped the largest label from the Friends Antique Labels One set with cranberry ink onto rose red cardstock and layered the coordinating smaller label frame, stamped in black, on top of it. To accent the frame, I die cut a rose (Spellbinders retired Flower Creations 3, but their new Rose Creations would be a close match, I think) out of the same rose red cardstock and then accented the edges of the petals with Copic R56 marker, to give it depth and definition:... JustRite October 2012 Release-Day 2

Hello and welcome to day two of JustRite Papercraft's October release! Today we're fast forwarding to the holidays, with this beautiful cling stamp set -- Holiday Cheer Ornaments: Each of the ornament stamps in this set coordinate with Spellbinders Heirloom Ornament die sets from the past three years, including 2012's! I chose to use the largest ornament stamp and 2010's Ornament Dies for my holiday card: I stamped the ornament with Memento Love Letter ink onto Neenah Natural White cardstock, die cut it, and while the cardstock was still in the die I airbrushed it with Copic E42 to give it a bit of an antique look: (I ended up not using the die cut greeting shown above!) Then I stamped the pretty "Holiday Cheer" greeting on the same Neenah Natural cardstock and die cut it with JustRite's Custom Antique Tags One die that matches the center of the ornament. Next, I airbrushed it with Copic BG53, so it would pop against the ornament. October Calendar

Ever since I started working full-time again outside our home the first of this year, I've noticed I've been slacking off on my monthly calendars and haven't done one in several months (sorry about that!). I thought I'd remedy that this month ... Here's my October calendar (on time!): I decided to go back to a 6-inch calendar to hang on my Taylored Expressions Frame Your Imagination Vertical Stand on my desk. The pretty background paper isn't store bought paper at all, it's JustRite's beautiful Autumn Damask Background stamp! I inked the background first with Memento Tangelo ink pad and then used the Potter's Clay ink pad around the edges of the stamp. I stamped it onto Neenah Classic Cream cardstock and then trimmed it closely around the image. I placed the background close to the top of a 6-inch piece of chocolate cardstock. The beautiful butterfly from JustRite's Grand Sentiments stamp set was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink onto cream cardstock and then airbrushed with Copic YR12 and E08 Sketch Markers and hand trimmed (no need to be neat about airbrushing if you are going to closely trim the image!).
